Make it part of SKINR and add a toggle to turn off player made ship skins and everyone can be happy.

I am not willing to accept this before i don’t have the choice to disable it.
FC needs to implement an option to render only standard skins and purge the harddrives of all others and the custom ones.
I need my precious SSD space not only for EVE, but for other games as well!

Very few people actually look at other people’s ships close enough to see SKIN they have on. Unless you’re a bridging titan, others won’t see your cosmetics. So, no reason the custom SKIN disable option shouldn’t be provided for those who want it.
SKINs are only good for taking beautiful screenshots with your own hulls. I’m not sure that is justification enough to have them turned on for everyone at all times.

I still think we should have cat ears. You’re telling me that the characters are canonically a bunch of immortal psychopaths with more money than God, and NOT ONE of them wants cat ears on their clone and is willing to pay for it?

In that case, the ganking of pods should be enhanced so that these drop as items and can be reused or sold. That would enhance the game somewhat and bring in more seriousness again that would be lost if those were introduced.
Maybe the same with monocles and similar stuff.
Also why should i have to buy other skins? Why can’t i fit a camera module to my ship to take photos of other ships so that my skinning facility can just replicate the skin i have “acquired”?

That would probably happen most on those Federation ships. especially the ones with the tits on them.
Because Fenris doesn’t get real cash for that.
I didn’t even want those things when I was 5!
If there was anything other than just neutral patterns that I would put on my ship, it would be a picture of a realistic penis, but I don’t think Fenris will go for that.
