Mr. Nauplius doesn’t approach things in quite the same way, though he could be said to be introducing his captive population to his deity, who I assume he imagines waiting in the afterlife with really evil sneer.
That’s his idea of what slavery is supposed to be about. It’s precisely about destroying people.
