But that is not all I can do. Sometimes I bait them with my looter and then they lose an Orca on top of the mining ship. Sometimes I bait them in wadecing my small corp and then I hunt them down for a week. Sometime I scam them out of all their money.

Yes, EVE is a great game and those who think like me would like it to be open to more people than just degenerates who only want to kill players for bragging rights.

Just don’t start complaining about the equivalent of someone in Chess taking one of your pieces. It’s part of the game.

How reasonable do you think is it, to hope the core mechanics of a 17 years old very successful game will suddenly change, just because you refuse to learn how to actually play it?
Achieving a high score, comparing performance metrics, including valuable kills or whatever in a computer game, what you call “bragging rights” is like the most normal things ever since Pong. That and having fun are kinda the main drivers of video games.
Maybe you can go brag with your mining yield or ISK/h in the PvE forums. But I kinda suspect you suck at that too

Yeah there is actually no point in arguing. You lost at a game. You either accept that it was your fault and learn how to avoid it in the future, or you will simply make the same mistake again.

Once upon a time I lost an instawarp interceptor with a lot of loot in high sec. I was a fool for not expecting war targets to be ready for me with remote sensorboosting to catch even the slipperiest of ships.
Unlike people who then go to the forum to complain about all the degenerates in this game, I learned to use an out-of-corp hauler that day.

My interpretation of what you said was that you were complaining. Maybe you weren’t. I just want to tell you that even if you did not intentionally complain, I probably won’t be the only one to interpret your text as complaining.
Try leaving out the insults to playstyles you don’t enjoy, such as ‘degenerates’. It may unintentionally suggest that you don’t enjoy the existence of those playstyles.

If your only goal is to have more than you have now, no matter when you take your snapshot of now you won’t have reached that goal. You can’t ‘win’ anything. It is still possible to think of having less now than you had before as losing, though.
I sometimes feel like the crux of what is being asked for is to make Eve more accessible to people who meander without any clear goals or objectives, but people who can’t create goals or objectives in a sandbox are not really suited to play a sandbox game. This would be the crowd that theme park and single player games are designed for.

It’s no insult to call a degenerate a “degenerate”.
I understand they can’t help it. Real-life frustrations can lead players to try and make other players “cry” and “complain” in a game. It’s fine by me, I rise above that.
All I’m saying is: pirates should not be afforded the same services as non-pirates. It’s a simple concept that exists since piracy came about.
