Hello there, just got slaughtered, beaten up, killed, unalived, trashed, hit harder then asteroid hits the Moon, I was pancaked, roflstomped, delivered to medics, given China cake and Australian normal Tuesday treatment…..

LOL, no.

I was ganking in Jita area and my loot ship got jumped by self appointed jita police force, lol.

I saw them coming and cloaking little bit after the downtime so I left my ship out and watched two movies( “two towers” and “terminator 2”), I came back to the game not thinking they are still there, shoot a guy and they shoot me.

Now, we will put aside the fact they wasted half of a day watching my idle ship( congratulation on patience) and went strait to the point- and that is the fact that these people are just….mean.

i went and send them a message saying “GF” and guy started a monolog about my family, rules of the world and how he is better human being then me. I kid you not, the text is so long that you can make a short story about it.

I still do not know if I should be disgusted or laughing at him, but here is my point- if you do not like what you are doing in game( wasting time watching my idle ship doing nothing for hours), then you should go and do something productive- like painting your wall and watching paint dry, IDK it is an example.

So my question is this- WHY are you like that?

Life is ticking away, stop doing what does not bring you happiness or joy.

Go out and find yourself some friends or girlfriend…I am not mad at you, I really am not- but if you will read this- be better!

Life do not have to be terrible.

People, this is only a damn game, stop taking it so fking seriously like it is defying you somehow…

And no, I am not anything like you said I was.

You are just in a hard place in time.

EDIT: ah yeah, I looted little bit more then 9bil in the morning session, from nice folks of Eve Online, they took 70 mil from my wrecked ship( buuuuuuu) and they were so proud they took it, I saw them like little puppies with huge eyes, so happy and joyful.

Oh, my apologies. I wasn’t aware this was the case, since it’s 95% of the content on my favourite EVE blog.

Still, maybe not the best idea to confess to ban evading on the official forums.

Still baffels me what ganking means in Eve. Is it people shooting people in HighSec or people shooting poor innocent that won’t shoot back?

In short, a gank is the act of using as much firepower in the shortest amount of time to destroy a target/targets in a surprise attack. This can be done anywhere in new eden.

Its a more controversial subject in highsec though because of the engagement rules there.

While that is true for most games and is kind of a general definition, in EVE Online the term “ganking” is almost exclusively used for “suicide ganking” aka sacrificing your ship in HighSec to CONCORD in order to bring down a target before the NPC security forces can intervene. Mostly done for good profits against people who fly careless in a full loot PvP game, but sometimes also just to make a statement, collect tears or pay off some old grudge.
