I’m a greedy old sod and the 500k isk for each one completed each day adds up over time, especially for the new players because it must be a massive help to them.
So does the 2.5 hours reduction in my queue for 5k sp

No I’m insinuating stating that you only care about easy access to free SP and that it has nothing to do with alpha accounts or newbies at all. You’re just using that to try and get your views accepted.
The fact that if you wanted to you could create an infinite amount of alpha accounts, train them for 6 months and then every so often pay CCP for extractors and take the free SP and turn it into an injector and sell it for profit IS a true thing. How many did it? That only CCP knows, is it efficient? Probably not unless you run true economies of scale. Is it FUN? I doubt it but its passive income. And probably less clicky than PI was/is and completely untouchable in terms of ruining the gameplay and “harvesting” methods using in game counters.
You can argue how likely it is that people did it till youre blue in the face but until CCP would release some numbers its a moot point now anyway as its gone away in exchange for something else CCP deems “better” for their own reasons.
SP farming is still a part of the game, just in different ways than this, and likely will continue as CCP profits from it in some way, shape or form. Being angry at someone figuring out a system to benefit from it or raging at the need to change it because its ‘broken’ is a usual thing in Eve imo. Lots of people have lots of different opinions on what is and isnt “good or bad” for the game.
It’s not passive as you would have to farm the dailies, also you cannot extract under 5mil sp which is what an alpha account can train to.
Tell me how it is worse if you can now do the entire reward track on all three characters on an omega account ? That’s a minimum of 285k x 3 = 855k on sp alone, for a minimum of 12 days. Another extra 270k across the 3-character account for the full 30 days, and you’re looking at 1.1M free sp, which equates to roughly half a month of omega training time.
Indeed, progress on a single character is somewhat less than before, but now it’s a cool advantage if you look at it across an account. And it’s free…
It’s slightly less total sp I did the math on another post but it looks like less time spent doing it so meh its fine.
But it DOES take more effort per account/character and that means it scales badly over multiple accounts and characters you don’t really actively use or play other than a multibox semi bot-like play style or SP farm. And that is their point but they’re not going to say that, obviously. Nono, it’s about the newbies, clearly
Does it ? It takes exactly the same amount of effort for me on my omega account - three characters who ran the daylies almost every day - and combined they now get more out of it (effort/sp wise)
It’s not an alpha friendly change. But alphas already play for free, don’t they.
Do the math. The reward track does not represent all the SP. You can continue earning SP beyond that. You lost more in Login SP than the increase in total possible Daily Rewards per month (75K SP). The Login SP was not incorporated into the new system like they claimed. Hence, it’s more for a causal who doesn’t do them religiously, but less for a die-hard.
My views are already accepted. Universally. It’s called basic arithmetic.
Even if what you stated was true it would not change the math. Your counter at this point is, “People prefer more SP than less”. I bet you really think that would be some kind of gotcha, don’t you?
How has the access to free SP become harder? It’s basically the same tasks as before and you can get more comparatively with less effort. At this point I feel you’re just being a contrarian to be a contrarian.
Are you taking into account the exp booster you used to get every 4 days?
On avg that was about 120k sp a month that could be applied to any char or held onto for a new char that was moved to the account.
No you. If you don’t have 3 characters on your account, that’s entirely on you. If you stay alpha, that is on you. It’s free stuff. Take it or leave it. CCP is under no obligation to give anything for free. In fact I could live very well without the fomo reward tracks, as we all did before they existed !
Yep. So I could in theory boost 1 character - usually my main in my case to make it at least somewhat worthwile. Now I can do a similar boost on all 3 characters. Yes, the dli with those booster rewards are gone, that’s true. Like you wrote a few posts back, it’s slightly less for one character and also slightly less effort. All good (and free)
Yes, I stated the 6 months it takes to get to 5mil SP on an alpha as well as I was referencing the old system was quite passive rather than active. But YMMV. Have at 'er.
They got cut in half because CCP enjoys trolling you and prefer double-down instead of backtrack.
Its about 10% lower.
I have an alpha character that has 5,492,000 SP.
Should I be given 5,000 SP per day for logging in? How do I get them?
After you log into the game, open the user menu interface (‘E’ icon top left of screen) and select ‘Opportunities’. That window will have 4 different Daily Goals available.
Daily Goals present pilots with four challenges every day, awarding Skill Points for completing two of them in addition to EverMarks and ISK for each individual goal completed. The challenges are varied and suited to different proficiencies, be it PvE or PvP combat, industry, or exploration.
Having just completed the initial 12 day cycle I note that it doesn’t renew at the end of the cycle so unless, when we get a full month in July, there’s a chance to repeat the 12 day cycle twice then the claim that there is more skill points available now via login/daily task then there was previously is a load of rubbish.
Previously 10k/day login and approx 120k/month for tasks - 420k total
Now 5k/day tasks and 150k bonus after 12 day cycle is completed - 300k total
Boo hoo
Boo hoo all you like.
Couldn’t care less about your feelings.
This is a simple example of changes being made by programmers who don’t understand what they are changing and yet they make claims about those changes that are easily proven false.
