I gave in and also bought one for my alt.
It’s exactly the kind of suit I wanted for her in the first place, but had to do with some black dress. Until now.

That’s giving Star Trek: First Contact “Borg Queen” vibes.
Those plug suits are a nice model, but just too H.R. Giger for my tastes.

Didn’t know H.R. Giger, but I can see what you mean. I think that’s what I like about it. I did indeed have Borg Queen vibes in mind for this character. Or to stay in EVE terms: Drifter vibes. 
These are just drifter suits after all.
For some reason CCP forgot to add it to the market database, but you can get them on contracts.

OK, since I didn’t see any chance of being able to complete the event twice in order to get both male and female versions of the new ‘Crisis Event’ Drifter Plugsuit’s, I decided to just buy a set from Public Contracts…
Was a bit pricey but now my collection has a total of 762 different Men’s and Women’s Apparel Items… And of course me and my significant other had to wear the new outfits…

Oh I also went back and did the event for real, 3 toons 6k points I have 3 sets of it now + the freebie.

For the record, H. R. Giger created the xenomorph in the Alien movie saga. So, if you’ve seen Alien movies, you’ve seen his work.
What do you mean by ‘if’?
Not knowing ‘Alien’ is a serious condition, to be treated immediately! There are theories that it’s basically impossible to grow up without this experience.
He’s created other works as well (much of it in his trademark “biomechanical” style). A lot of his stuff, I find off-putting. Some, disturbing. I doubt the guy has ever painted a sunflower in his life.
His work is essentially full of sex.
His interpretation of the topic of sex though, that’s definitely not mild. He certainly wasn’t preoccupied with flowers.
He might be the very first advocate of non-consensual PvP. 
Some new Apparel items have been released with this new event for a limited time in a game pack called Nexus Reckoning Pack…
The new Apparel items are called Men’s & Women’s Cluster Champion Frame… Some of the players are selling them in Market and possibly even in Public Contracts..
