after looking at the guide, you’re supposed to destroy the generators then the repair station before trying to kill the pirates
which the main objective, is to destroy the repair station.. you do that and you can warp out and turn it in without even fighting the rats.

I know, but resetting the npcs are major ■■■■■■■■.
That can’t happen. Fair is fair. What if I was pointed, who would believe me with a killmail saying NPCs weren’t dying?

So the issue is youre getting overwhelmed while trying to destroy the objectives in proper order?
You didnt say what ship youre in. Sounds like you need more tank so you can eat more incoming damage until the station is down.
Are they resetting or regening. There are a few missions in the game that have npc’s with insane regen skills. Its a dps check for sure.
Level 3’s are pretty much the doorway of really focusing on correct damage use and resists usage.
Eve survival is your mission bible.
Well, the way I see I did 1 of 2.
I reported absurd behavior.
Now I gonna install some video capture for a situation when I may need it.
WoW has a reset mechanism, but only when players get into a position where they cannot be attacked. This shouldn’t happen in EVE.

Right but if you just do the objective you don’t even need to touch the rats, it’s a waste of time and ammo to do so, the EvE guide says
“Destroy repair station, warp out”
I’m not too familiar with this mission specifically but I know there are many where killing the rats ranges from nigh on impossible, to outright dangerous to your standings with which ever faction the rats belong to, and any buffs they have I can only assume are there to act as a disincentive for killing the rats.
It’s a Level 2 mission, you’re missing zero worthwhile loot by ignoring these rats.
I know, that’s beside the point.
EVE is a sandbox, if I want to play it wrong, I should be able to.

It sounds like an intended mechanic to me. In the past, ive done this mission many times in drakes and i killed everything even after the station was down ( i no longer do level 3’s ). Ive never seen npc’s just reset….in any mission that i can recall,
Id like to see a video if you make one.

Yeah, I tried, and totally fair to ask for one.
My best guess, and it’s not my first time doing this mission:
I knew the station is full of HP, so I decided to troll and sent the drones, I started killing the dessies first.
Maybe, CCP implemented some mechanic where I didn’t applied any direct damage to the structure so they resetted the guardians… Idk, that’s my best guess so far.
As far as the game don’t go crazy on me, all good, I don’t like it, but it’s not the end of the world, that mission is crap and I gonna troll it every single time. That station is full of HP just to waste my time so I choose how my time is going to be wasted.
Unfortunately the default video capture failed me, I need a software. I don’t expect people to believe me, but you guys were trolling with that default banter…
I just did that mission earlier and yes, the NPC’s and Tower Sentry’s do indeed regenerate very quickly…
The Repair Station will keep sending out drones to repair everything until it’s destroyed… Destroying the Power Generators first just lowers the speed and amount of repair done to the ships and Tower Sentry’s if the station is still intact… Destroying the Repair Station quickly right after the Power Generators actually stops the NPC’s and Tower Sentry’s from being regenerated…

Now I understand, they messed up somehow the server ticks and it appeared to reset the NPC, but it was being healed.
They shouldn’t listen to Anna, 1s server tick is fine… They probably trying to modernize EVE and messed up… I was like wtf?! Now it makes sense.

Hes the one having the issue and not really telling us what hes doing wrong….blaming it on a server tick or something.

Really? Then why did you say you’ve never seen any NPC’s reset in any mission that you can recall?

In the mission page ‘Break Their Will’…
Notes:
- Mission objective requires you to destroy a Repair Station.
- If you want to kill the rats, destroy the Repair Station first as it will repair the rats
- Optional: Destroy the Aux Power Generators before the station to prevent the station auto healing itself.
So yeah, I can understand players not knowing about that which would cause them to think the mission is bugged…
