Market:
- New Eden received a sales tax reduction of 50% in all regions.
- Brokers’ fees are also reduced by 50%, so the Advanced Broker Relations skill will now provide a 6% relist fee reduction per level instead of 5% (max reduction at level 5 will now be 80%).

The two 50% changes are supposedly temporary (3 months); the Advanced Broker Relations change is permanent.

LMAO I love it that it’s backfired on them so much that they now have to start trying to palliate the side effects their “bot-fighting update” brought upon legit market players.
We’ll have to wait and see if the 50% reduction will be gone after 3 months; they may want to keep it or even lower it further depending on the numbers.

The comment above you was 8 hours old at the time. Top right of a comment shows it’s age, and more specific it’s age if you hover over it.
Feb '20 would mean it was Feb 2020 when it was posted.

If they don’t have that many orders they really aren’t a trader/industrialist.
I know I get annoyed because I don’t have enough sell orders available to market what I produce.
I also get annoyed with people undercutting me by just a tiny amount on low sell rate items.
I get really annoyed when someone buys my stuff and marks it up 100x just on the off chance someone will screw up and click on their order.
If it costs me a lot to relist my 100 items, I will just start listing fewer at a time so that I can still make these adjustments. Or worse I will end up with lots of small orders all undercutting the last.
Trading is very much pvp. Sitting around and waiting for something to sell isn’t practical. You will just keep getting sniped.

with the tax break, it shouldn’t cost you near as much, plus also depends on your standings how much its costing you as well.
depends on the trade hub and what you’re selling. plenty of things will sell given the right price in the right place and enough time. all those people you say are sniping me are just settling for less money, in the end… as long as the supply isn’t insanely high, my order will be lowest again.
I love it! I thought the day would never come and that all my whining in the forums were for nothing.
I can finally trade again without feeling punished at every step.
Come the end of October, we’ll see if those 50% adjustments remain in play, or if they get removed as mentioned earlier.
