After you. You seem so butt hurt, I would not want to deprive other people from your pathetic spectacle. Please keep crying.
Seems like the new update is doing its intended effect, weeding out the crybabies.
“But my margin is GOOD for the game !!!11!!11!111!!!”. Nah, it was good for you. But bad for the market.
Open your avatar then go preferences -> notifications -> users. Max ignore time is 4 months though .
I also blocked Anderson. She is a known troll.
It’s more like I spanked your butt so many times you can’t sit on a chair anymore.
Strange, you repeated so many times I thought you actually liked it.
Notice how literally every person for this change has given either no reason at all or their reason has been “because it’s good for me.” Meanwhile the majority of people against it have actually been stating reasons for why it will be bad while providing math/stats/articles about why that is likely to be the case. So far the only “evidence” I’ve seen linked on the “pro” side has been a misinterpreted chart provided by CCP.
It’s kind of obvious who’s able to actually reason a problem out to it’s logical end vs those that just see a chance at temporary personal gain and run with it, consequences be damned. I will never be amazed at some people’s willingness to run headlong off a cliff for the thrill of the fall.
Thanks for the help, the thing is, I actually did that!
I did it again now, hope it works this time. It might not have saved or something.
Actually the best thing about it, is that I didn’t say who I wanted to block, but the fukking moron automatically just assumed it was them.
I have to admit though, that it was actually them, as it was getting to the stage that I was being affected by some sort of weird “contact stupidity”, just by being exposed to endless amounts of the idiot’s cretinous, content-free mouth noises.
Re the “chart”… They never specified afaik how many of the un updated orders never sold, or how many of them were for NPC corps ie fake CCP orders, or what percentage of all money traded actually comes from those “1.3%” or whatever of updated orders
Well that’s ignoring CCP’s post. So yes, if you ignore the reasons for this change, there is no reason for this change that remains.
Except the cliff is only in your head.
The only cliff is for people who rely on a bot-like behavior to make money. So yes anytime there is a nerf, people who can’t adapt and still rely on the nerfed thing will doom themselves. Nothing new here.
That’s what CCP put in your head, and you bought it. There is nothing wrong with repetitive tasks in an MMO as long as they are manually carried out by a person rather than a script.
What’s the difference between a barge bot that warps to a location, clicks on the 2 Strip Miner IIs, waits for the hold to fill and then warps back to the station, and a PLAYER who does all these things manually? NONE. The inputs are the same. A bot is obviously 100% more precise. But the behaviour from a player that’s playing the game and paying attention to it could also be called “bot-like”. Does he deserve punishment for it? NO. He’s playing the game himself. He’s not automated it. Do everyone else playing the same profession deserve punishment due to a minority of bots? Such as destroying a part of the profession? NO.
Why would it be “BAD” that a player relists their order? CCP has now said it’s “bot-like”. Which is bollocks because the inputs we do are very similar to what a bot does. But it’s US playing the game, not a script. That’s not punishable. Or else I would have been banned years ago.
Suddenly CCP spouts “bot-like behaviour” and all weak-minded fools now have a new little “crusade” to pursue.
CCP also stated they want to hand back the advantage to those who make more educated calls, rather than bots. We already do more educated calls. Bots are not an issue in market trading. They state
Well of course. That’s how they designed the market! If they don’t want that, they should change it so that we can see who sets which order, and that we can buy from whoever we want, rather than the item at the top of the queue! Problem solved, bots go away.
The fact they are not doing that is really puzzling, as if there was something else in the works.
Exactly. As long as the lowest sell and highest buy are the only orders that fill the market will be a battle of who can keep their order at the top. The only thing this change does is alter the optimal strategy to do so.
I put sell orders up for items that are collected during high sec ratting and turn the ask into buy orders for the materials I need to build things in the system I live in. Then I build stuff and put up sell orders.
Running my very small business and doing the numbers. I will have to sell to the highest bidder and buy from the lowest seller. Nothing else makes sense.
I have to do hub numbers to figure out now what will be profitable to build. I suspect T-2 is right now.
So my circle of choices shinks some more.
Yes there is. Because of their nature it becomes interesting to use bots.
They are begging people to use bots.
ask yourself why it is good that trigs spawn in HS belts.
And you are not punished. Being punished would be, to ban everybody.
Don’t use words that are bad in the context. What’s happening, is that you are removed a toy that was abused.
Suddenly you start crying a river.
That’s your crying words against CCP’s. Guess who’s in charge ? Not you, obviously.
I told you already, this has been changed years ago to fight against RMT. This is now a requirement in the game, whether you like it or not.
Just something that you don’t want to accept, like your gameplay is bad for the game.
Besides 0.01 iskers, nobody claimed that that gameplay was healthy.
Just watch twitch and look at the face of people, when they place a sell order of an item they just sold and it’s cut by 0.01 isk 1min later. That was just a bot gameplay. Literally no strategy involved, just spam your order modifications
Dunno, I had no issue buying from SO and selling through SO. sometimes to BO but very rarely.T1 was kinda good if you had the good BPOs (I have all subcap and fighter - besides BS and BC - 10/20, many cap modules 10/20, and many structure modules 10/20, as well as several astrahus, raitaru and athanor bpos with varying research state)
The gameplay is not bad for the game. Stop believing what they feed u like a sheep. The “people on Twitch” that you mention probably put an order in the PVP market and they expect everyone to sit with our thumbs up our a*** till their order sells and then take turns and put ours. Did the people on Twitch played around the bots for that particular item? No. They probably saw 1 order get surpassed and decided to abandon their trading “career”.
Obviously people who invest time in trading are at an advantage over people who don’t. That does not mean it’s bad for gameplay and that does not mean there is the need to “even” the playing field. For example, I don’t normally PVP. Is it “unfair” and “bad for the game” that I lose PVP fights to people who have been doing it for years? Maybe we should even out the playing field and give me some buff when I’m fighting ships with superior tank or DPS than mine. Especially vs gangs. So that the playfield is even, otherwise “it’s bad for the game”.
I don’t run industrial complexes in 0.0. Is it bad and unfair if I try to set up one and an Alliance goes and takes it out?
Why is it fair that I can’t own sovereign space on my own and I don’t even own Titans. “It’s really bad for the game”, I mean, just watch the face of people who don’t own a Titan. How is it fair, it’s “really bad for the game”.
SHEEP.
This is the moment, where you have no argument and go for personal aggression. I won’t read what follows, because it’s a waste of time anyhow.
Your gameplay is bad, and it encourages botters. It’s not yours to decide, it’s CCP’s claim, and if you don’t like it, feel free to make your own game.
Nice to have met you, thank you for you hard work trying to get it, too bad you could not, maybe after a few weeks you will understand it, and if not, anyhow good luck on another game
Yes you did read what followed, it’s just you dont have any arguments to counter it so you claim you stopped reading.
Also, don’t forget your tinfoil hat. There are a lot of wifi radiation, may hurt you.
The big problem of any discussion about this game is the absence of ground principles established by CCP. There is no officially published “10 commandments of EVE”.
And because of that it is impossible to decide more or less objectively: are some changes are in accordance with “10 commandments” or not.
But of course every fecking mormon has his own “10 commandments” and just can’t accept the fact that not he is the god in this game.
It would be nice if every single person who posted pro- and contra- doesn’t forget to post his ground principles.
Example:
Lets my ground principles be (I invented them just now and exactly for this case):
- I think EVE is not about repeating actions it is about making decisions.
- I think it is bad when longer uptime gives significant advantage.
I like latest changes. Because they make the game more matching to my principles.
The tick size makes an uptime less significant
The relist fee makes you use some strategy (small orders or long-term orders with fair price)
I don’t care about citadels fee, looks like it is made for the sake of ISK sink.
As industrialiost this will decimate my profits. I have to buy my mats for building from buy orders and thanks to these changes it will make it mutch, mutch slower. This change will make actual selling off stuff mutch harder and slower.
If these changes go live i might not afford paying my accounts … Thanks for removing my main source of isk…
