Show me where I said their order will remain at the to spot indefinitely. Oh right, I didn’t. I said quote “So now, whoever held the top spot for said item (prior to the update going live) likely won’t have any competition from anyone else currently selling said item. So they can hold it (AKA THE TOP SPOT) indefinitely (BY LISTING MORE OF THE SAME ITEM) with no repercussions until someone new lists above them.”
Your understanding of what I said is 100% wrong. I’ve already clarified twice what I meant but your arrogance and unwillingness to admit your wrong is your own damn fault.
If they hold the top spot now and that order sells through, they can simply sell more of the same item at the top spot since everyone else does not want to relist since it’ll eat into their profits. What the ■■■■ is so hard to understand about that in the sense that they can “hold it indefinitely”? It’s obviously entirely unrealistic they will hold the top spot indefinitely since that item is eventually going to sell, so the fact you even stated that was utterly stupid. Go take an English class.
And that is exactly what the EVE market is designed to be. As long as you need to be at the top to sell/buy, it is illogical to do anything else. With the system we have now, you have this necessity to be at the top coupled with capital punishment for wanting to be at the top. You either accept not selling//buying anything or you accept not making any money. Both choices are frustrating, they are not intelligent, they do not allow for intelligent decisions and they do not improve the market experience in any way whatsoever. Everything is worse now.
“OMG PRICE VARIES”
Well it always varies
“NOT BY THIS EXACT VALUE”
Well, nobody cares about your complains.
The fact that you won’t cut someone if you can’t afford to cut him, does not change. That’s literally what I was talking about, and that you took for a “you’re wrong prices have changed”, that is a complete off-topic stupidity.
