its about all the orders in new eden so even nullsec/lowsec orders where there is barely any competition so noone needs to update. It’s an irrelevant graph.

Добрый день,уважеме ССР может пора зканчивать со своими экспериментами?Я только прокачал торгового персанажа,потратил на это два месяца,итог все-мои труды идут под коню под хвост.Я играю всего год в еву ,но последнее време, почему то игра начинает приносить один негатив,Я прокачиваю майнинг персонажей вы фиксите майнинг,я прокачиваю торговлю вы фиксите торговлЮ,Ваше поведение очень похоже,на поведение хозяина лошади,у которой завелись блохи, и он вместо того,что бы купить репилент пытается убить блох_дубиной,вы хотите побороть рмт ,так начните с ними конкурировать,Вы хотите убрать ботинг найдите нормальные способы это сделать, пока все ваши изменения просто выбивают игроков из игры,У меня знакомый потратил неделю,на эксель по торговле, теперь его труд идет в мусорную корзину,возьмите ваши изменения с вх,итог двое ребят из нашей компании , ребята которые оплачивали 2-3 акаунта реальными деньгами,Возьмите меня я стал чаше посматривать на другие проекты, учитывая что за год я уже брал перерыв на 4 месяца ,вместо того что бы улучшить поддержку игроков ,которая отвечает на запросы через месяц.убрать суицидников ,вы бьете по играющим пользователям, при этом большенство новичков не играют больше двух недель,по моему все ваши изменения путь на кладбище игр,

Margin trading: Why don’t we just ban everyone who doesnt have a few trillion in the bank from setting up orders? Same effect.
Everything else is good incremental changes but those 2 main points make it really hard for me.

The thing is in the real world market, it can be done ez pz. NOW IN EVE NO NO NO NOOOOO!!! imma take the “market” approach cause its BROKERS HANDLING IT! someone tell the very very very un talented individuals at ccp that “the market stuff they made up”, that there is no market that doesn’t let u set the price you want. ebay, amazon, even the books with coupons… dear god.

While I appreciate the thought behind the changes, I believe you should review the details.
I think 4 sig figures is too low, 5 at minimum, think about selling a Charon or Faction Battleship or faction mods.
Also margin trading skill is a god-send to the part-time (and even more-so for the full-time) traders out there, it really helps to get a little bit of leverage while not getting your ISK reserves too low. So you don’t need a dedicated market alt with 10bil in assets, but a ‘main’ account with PvP, PvE and a bit of market on the side with spare ISK putting that to good use, having your rainy day fund there to take advantage of any market opportunities that pop up. My 2c.

It does take some isk. I do it when I buy plex. Its helped run bots out of the region in my area, and I am not in jita doing it.

How does this fight into the fight themed focus? This seems of focus.
prepare to get 100s of evemails asking you for requests regarding your listed items or orders… possibly written by bots

I also agree with this post …
While I havn’t the large trade empire going, I have seeded my buyorders in regions where it is doubtfull that they will ever get filled…
With this however, my wallet till go broke with doing such a thing, and I would have to put my buyorders in a hub, to have any hopes of it ever filling.
In either case, I guess time will tell how this will work out …
But as loonitunen posted; I am not really a happy customer having read the upcomming change

The fact all items are exactly the same also plays into the fact the only edge you get is margin trading with good skills and great blueprints… this is exact same items going against the exact same thing. These aren’t abyssal items that very greatly. The only change is price.
Like they said: they took it from the real world.
Most changes here ARE done by economists. Just not eve economists.
What real world market only let’s you control the first 4 digits? I am actually asking, because I’ve never heard of it nor have every seen it.

RIght, but the vast majority of jita market alts also aren’t exclusively Jita market alts. They’re doing all those same things, too, and in a lot of cases, building and selling supercapitals.
CCP ‘trying to make’ people play or not play a specific way, though? That’s kinda… concerning. What happens when they decide that your particular playstyle isn’t ‘right’?
More cement in the sandbox, I suppose.

I really like this.
I could be considered as a person who “behaves like a bot”, except I never use -0.01 isk : I always remove a percentage, and if it’s too low I reset my sell order to a higher value (so I will sell later, but for higher value), after making other “competitors” go down. And I hate this gameplay. For example, I made some prices go down to -50% of SO(300M->100M by reduction of 10% each time) and still sold my items with a correct margin, ensuring people who wanted to compete had to sell with a lower margin that I accepted. So all the people who just compete on the 0.01 are at loss. And by this, I mean the bots or bots-behaving players.
I’m glad if I that means people will stop this activity that does not bring anything to the game.
I mean it’s not like I actually called for this
