What we need is not a tweak to the bumping mechanic. We need bumpers to become suspect flagged. We need the legal right to fight back and blow up these Machariels. Otherwise highsec belongs to Machariels, not freighter pilots. Multiboxing sync bots running destroyers and stealth bombers is already against the rules and cheating. If CCP keeps allowing Machariel bumping without giving us the right to retaliate, the game mechanics are simply unbalanced. Us haulers need the right to defend ourselves against Machariels in highsec! Make pilots suspect flagged once they perform a bump!

The core issue is that highsec is unbalanced. CONCORD’s rules favour Machariel pilots. These high-mobility battleships are very difficult to gank. Freighter pilots do not use synchronizers to commit ganks, yet the gankers themselves violate the rules by using synchronizers. They are cheating while still being protected by highsec CONCORD. If those 60 destroyers or 55 stealth bombers were manually operated by dozens of individual players, haulers should accept their losses.
Did you consider maybe you shouldn’t be hauling 10b for your latest freighter loss 2 days ago?

You have massive volumes of synchronized kill records. Years of such activity are sufficient grounds to regard you as suspects. It falls on you to provide proof that you were manually multiboxing and managed to take down a competent freighter pilot. Your operations have disrupted many players, and action is warranted. Your accounts should be banned.
