Very. The fact that they allow PvP griefing in the year 2021, when we’ve finally managed to move away from hate and violence as a society, is deeply disturbing.
PvP should be labeled an exploit everywhere (it would be okay to allow players to compete in evenly matched contests of skill in special arenas, however, where damage is automatically turned off once it reaches structure).
That seems a little extreme.
People will shoot each other into structure to grief each other, I think that EVE should be a model for human civilization and everyone should have a chance to grind.
Only in the arena. Once you leave the arena, the damage is automatically repaired, so that you are at full capacity when you go back to work for your Caldari Navy agent.
And of course if at any time you feel uncomfortable during the arena contest, you can revoke your consent by unchecking the consent box on your screen, upon which the match ends, and an apology is sent out by the other participant’s character automatically.
well as the CSM pointed out they did finally agree with devs etc that no pvp in 0.5 and above is the best solution for all and the warring/conflict remains in low/null

do you have proof of this lol, this idea would completely kill the game unless almost all reward for pve was also removed from highsec. I am not convinced CCP are that insane but who knows these days.

Ok, so since PvP is being removed from Highsec, I wonder if there is any reason to maintain Highsec at all? The servers must be expensive, and there’s no real point in running a bunch of complicated calculations for range and distance and targeting and hitpoints and local and all that d-scan nonsense. So how about they just calculate how much Veldspar the typical Orca can mine in a 16 hour average AFK cycle, and then all you have to do is login and you get the tritanium directly into your hangar. Then you can build whatever free ships you want and enjoy playing on Creative mode.
This player ganked an Enyo that I had one of my indy characters killing rats for SP. So I jumped in my Triglavian HAC and put myself in a position to be ganked, knowing that my tank would take it and watched amused as they wasted their ships on me.

I’m not against “pirates in HS”. People probably shouldn’t carry the crown jewels in a soda can, take a nap ore mining or let their computer drive their ship, I don’t even use my autopark feature in my car. Local to me is Intel, the more I have the better.
Yea eve online has gotten so bad now I moved into nullsec warping gate to gate and not only I didn’t get shot at, I got invited to a corp.
