Still boring though
I hear they let bots play it and that ruined it

Calm down pawn
King me!
Ah I see you âwent all the wayâ and turned into a âqueen!â
And they let children play this, you say
I play with the 2017 SJW Equal Right empowerment Chess mod 1.2
The version that does away with black and white and just has all opaque piecesâŚplus any piece and become anything they want, free of judgingâŚalso there are no judges.
No rules either by the sounds of it
Yeah but 1.3 is coming out soon. Some notable patch changes:
In all seriousness and depending on where you are and time you play, Iâll protect you with my mining fleet at the cost of ~10% of what you mine plus whatever i mine i keep.
Iâll even haul for you.
The argument that keeps popping up is âPlayers should be allowed to play as they wantâ when it comes to someone that wants to mine 23/7.
But what about the player that wants to pop your pod? Shouldnât they be allowed to play as they want? So really, the argument is âPlayers should be allowed to play as they want. But only if itâs my way.â
I think if that point was made honestly, weâd get a little further in the discussion.
Players can pop your pod whenever they want. It just takes effort. Whatâs the problem?
The problem is the players that canât accept that they consent to the possibility of someone popping their ship and pod when they log in.
They use the common argument that players should be allowed to play as they want, all the while seeking to restrict other players from pursuing conflicting activities.
In short, some believe that people playing as they want should only apply to them, and nobody should be able to take part in an activity that may conflict with theirs.
Nobody want to point out that a tanked barge with 5 light drones can take out the triglavians. There is also no trigs in starter systems
Also what the heck is op using all the isk on?
But if I pull in my mining drones I lost that sweet max isk per hour. This will not do.
(Warning sarcasm. May be triggering for some younger viewers)
If I choose a Procurer I have to be at the keyboard and lose that sweet max isk per hour too.
But I never have to replace it or post on the forums about how I got pwned by NPCs, and that itâs all the gameâs fault; unlike the OP.
You have been 5 years in this game and you donât know? Itâs called Locator Agents.
(Another personâŚ)
There should be a newbie zone that is surrounded on all side by nullsec then lowsec.
There should be enough stuff in there (missions, mining, sites ect) to let new people learn the ways of eve.
Then when they think they are ready have to fight/scan/sneak their way past some of the most villainous dirty cutthroat pilots that eve has to offer all leading to one gate to enter into highsec where pirate corps camp the gates 24/7 picking off those who are not worthy.
Those who make it are welcomed to a game of wonders/mad lootz/ and iskies.
There maybe those that choose to stay in lowsec/nullsec to join the hordes of thugs attacking new players.
But hopefully by then all the snowflakes will have long since quit leaving us with experienced pilots who are battle ready and wiser from the ordeal. Ready for whatever comes at them be it pirate or npc.
A little humour with a sprinkle of sarcasm. But seriously this should be an option for those who want a challenge.
Paraphrasing Malcanis:
You, the player, are an adorable golden haired child. You are released, alone but with a map, into a large wilderness park teeming with tens of thousands of rapacious predators. If you are cunning, tenacious and lucky, you can eventually become one of the predators; and along the way you learn how to not become their prey.
My first character was in a wormhole within a month, with some friends whom I had originally met in a random IRC chatroom back in the days of emule and the like.
While heâs long since been sold on, I Iearnt more about the game in my first 3 months of playing than others learn in decades.
OP, you have heard the saying âit takes money to make moneyâ? You will have to use some more effective ship modules and drones.
Expensive at first, yes, but will pay for themselves and actually a little more over a time. That is the solution to your problem and how to keep mining in peace.
Firstly - fly an Exhumer and not just a measly low-yield mining barge. The Mackinaw is best for solo work (good ore hold capacity = making lots of isk), Hulk best in mining fleets or multiboxing with Orca.
Replace all (or at least as many as can be) your less-money-making regular ship modules with better (and profit-making!) officer modules. ('deadspace" or faction level modules if you have to)
https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Faction_modules
Use 5 of the best combat drones available to buy. Have the drones orbit you permanently. Because they are better, they will be able to defeat Triglavians on their own without you having to do anything.
Donât listen to people who might say donât do this for yourself. Of course your mining competition doesnât want you to be able to profit so much and those idiot sociopath gankers donât want you to be an impossible target.
Get out there and mine up a lot of isk!
