No, there are no safe spaces in Eve. There is only degrees of safety and danger. This is the nature of the game being played.
Now, far be it from me to tell you how to play the game. If you want to be a miner and a carebear, be a miner and a carebear. However, just because thatâs what you want to do, that doesnât mean that you get to straight up opt-out of risk, danger, and/or PvP (I just want to run footballs in for touchdowns: I donât want to be tackled). So, I suggest you practice risk management, and treat the roaming trigs as a problem that needs to be solved.
And, in case youâre curious, the roaming trigs were apparently implemented to combat mining bots. I agree that they might be a little to difficult for newbros to handle, but if you make them too easy, then they wouldnât have any effect on bots.

Pardon me for sort of hijacking this thread, but yeah Im returning after 5 years, and spent most of my SPâs on mining and industry. I havenât yet started mining again, but I have tons of exhumers and an alt piloting an Orca. Worried that if I go mining that the Trigâs can warp scram both my shipsâŠBut I suppose I could fit some warp scram disrupters (whatever they are called - having a brain fart) in the low slots. Do these Trigâs only show up in systems with triangles? In that case, if the op is complaining about them in 0.8 space, just move somewhere elseâŠ

there is dudes that make mission lvl 4 and even incursions on orcas
Imo if you are mining since 2005 you should be able to pilot and orca.
An orca in high sec canât be afraid of theese new rats.
If they show up, you switch your mining drones for combat drones and kill them without problem.
If you can pilot a mining barge, go for a tanky procurer and again with combat drones they are not a problem.
The only players that can really be annoyed by theese rats are new player with venture.
Once you can afford and pilot a barge, just go for the tanky one with some combat drones and youâre set.

Trigs scram in Triangle (invasion) systems
They dont tend to in other systems in their little squads of 4 or so unless you go near their conduit
They also dont seem to go to orenomilies
Which is why the rules of chess get patched every 3 months, right?

Cmon dude lets be honest, the only thing more dull than mining is watching someone else mine.
One solution I can think of is for miners to mine in a fleet and combine their DPS when Trigs appear. Maybe 3-4 barges can kill Trigs before a barge pops. Maybe thatâs the direction CCP is prodding miners towards.

Great strawman. Did you know there are alternative rulesets for chess? Did you know the reason for them is that chess is too predictable?
Also it is nice how you skip nearly 2000 years of rule development⊠chess rules got codified properly only 200 or so years ago, and even then some changes were introduced.
