Nah. The idea of a discussion is that you respond to what a person has actually said…not to some straw man version…or using a related post to platform your ideology whilst never actually responding to the points raised in the post you springboard off.
A better question. What is the #1 reason people leave ? I think ( and CCP stats from prior years even show ) that ganking and PvP are waaaaay down the list. I would argue that the complexity of the game, and simply being bored, are at the top of the list.
The question then arises. If one scraps PvP in highsec…is one going to make highsec more, or less, boring ? You know that some miners, for example, never ever leave highsec. I cannot begin to imagine the level of sheer boredom from mining in total utter safety…and for what ? More ISK ? More ISK for what ? Even the stupidest person is going to get to the ’ what the heck am I doing this for ?’ situation…so having some risk involved at least provides some motivation.

Well, since ganking only affects a very tiny percentage of the player base, it makes sense that ganking would not be at the top of the list for quitting the game.
But can you answer your own question.
