CCP GIVE US DRIFTER SHIPS

At what daily / weekly player count will it have to go low enough to get these ships into the game in order to keep people logging on?

If CCP adds drifter ships, but no one is around to play the game, did the ships really exist?

Lets get drifter ships BPC drops, i am fine if they made with super crazy skill requirements. Perhaps drop them in higher tier Abyss drifter spawns?

How do you know drifter ships arent available?

Polaris ships are still in game… those are specifically ISD ships that they get to fly.

Ok. Fair enough, but what I meant was you can’t save a hacked polaris/enigma fit like you used to. Now you have to wait for an ISD, or someone who can fly them, to link the fit in chat in order to bring up the info screen for it in order to spin it. Previously you only needed someone to link the fit once, save it, and then you could spin it to your heart’s desire.

I know there been a lot of smack talk about the edencom variants but TBA they have a number of good applications. Yes the price is excessive but IMO there no better ship for running PvE sites.

I mean Bjonre Bee made a pretty good case for them in his Stormbringer fleet fight against Frats Munnin fleet. But once again the cost was so prohibitive.

Even if they handed you a copy of the polaris skill you couldn’t actually train it because training it requires having the polaris skill at 5

I put together this big old proposal a few years ago, complete with a full line of their ships and how they could hypothetically work & play - the DD stuff is, I think, impossible to really balance - but the ships without them, at least the way I see them, could be a hell of a lot of fun to fly someday - plus, they’re some of my favorite designs in the game
