CCP hates miners = confirmed

see that is the only kind of thing you say on here to people not just me . and you call me miserable,

Yes, I am. Cos you are. You even seem to think that when people laugh at you they are unhappy. This is wrong - laughing at you means they find you or what you say funny.

Lighten up miseryguts - you’ll find life better that way.

Hello Johnny Boggart,

As far as I remember, this is, or used to be at least a sandbox.

If the players want to mine their hearts out, who gets to decide that they can’t? Who gets to decide how you, as a player paying sub or mining your heart out to buy plex, have to spend your time in their game?

What is the point of the nerf? Who or what are they trying to hit? Who needed or wanted this nerf?
Do you have any idea?

at its heart this is nothing more than Attempting to once again Manufacture Conflict…for gaming news headlines.
the last thing ccp wants obviously is stable player run empires for some reason.
they only care to be merchants of death destruction and anarchy.

If you make mining more difficult or take more effort then miners who know what they’re doing will have less competition and will have better income.

The only ones who are negatively affected are the lazy ones, the clueless ones.

The fact that this was ever possible in a cheap rorq is the problem lol…

If you look at the big picture, then in all directions, there is always a slight degradation. When new content arrives, it’s highly profitable for a while. And then the yield falls, falls, falls. ДДP try to make the game difficult. And the longer the content exists, the more it is balanced. To bring low income.

ā€œbut i wanna watch netflix while I afk mine with 20 rorqs in one site!ā€

This is basically it

low income, so everyone pays for sub or what? What’s the next profitable thing they’ll nerf in your logic? ded sites? Every inventive way to make nice profit, players come up with gets nerfed. Same for astrahus farming drifters. And for what?

I will ask this again. Nerfs for who or what? Everyone has access to everything in this game. Yeah well maybe not to dronelands if you don’t speak chinese or russian. fair enough

^ Shame, poor kid thinks its only chinese or russians in dronelands.

giggles.

But people ARE content for other people, that’s the entire concept of ONLINE gaming.

Your industrial gameplay doesn’t exist without clients to buy what you mine/product. Every client is your content.

Low income for everyone. To play was harder. Real survival. The ideal is everywhere null-sec, evil hungry pirates, and drifters rush at everyone. No income at all, only resistance. Players fight back, and developers drop more and more attackers on them. Invasions are everywhere! Death, hunger and pestilence.

I will tell you frankly again. Crabs love to suffer. Gangsters love andrenaline. ДДPs help put this together.

Dunno what to say, don’t care about 0.0 but the Trigs in hi sec are annoying for smalltime solo miners, even if your not afk mining (which i never do), they hit so hard you just have to run away.

Suggestion for CCP, make them hit a lil less hard, you can still make it so, if u afk mine you evt. get whacked, but atleast give the newb the chance to run away and not get OMGWTFPWNBBQ’ed in one volley

I wonder how many newbs get whacked on a daily basis, because they have no clue about the Trigs, any numbers on that?

FYI, i have not yet lost anything but a couple a drones to the trigs and gained some exp.

I approve of these mining changes and those to be made in the future.

I think the worst part is that the overviews suggested to new players don’t have the trigs on it by default.

Not just newbies. Look on Zkill. There are Skiffs and even Orcas being taken out by Trig patrols. Oh well, that’s what happens when you mine AFK…

CCP reduces the mineral supply. OK.
Therefore, the minerals that are mined are more valuable.
Therefore, mining is worth more per hour.
Therefore, CCP hates miners.

Got it. By that logic, I wish my employer would hate me with a passion. I could use more income.

The people this hurts are mainly going to be the capital producers, since they need the most minerals per product, and will therefore have both higher costs and a much reduced market.
