i am of my own alliance already in nullsec not big played eve beta…this is a bigger robbery than the Failminion patch that started the decline of the playerbase off in 2010 and they still have not stopped trying to screw people’s gaming time since then , i do not understand it we should have over a hundred thousand star systems by now and a 100k + online playerbase but CCP just keeps on sticking the knife in people’s as to no good effect or reason. except playerhate that i can tell.

one of the real problems in this whole thing is this idea that people are somehow “content” for other people and are once again trying to feed the loudest screams on the forums more 'content" like a bunch of Slavers or fighting pit owners

people complain about bots and all that but this in the main is CCP’s fault to begin with when they cut the playerbase out from under big alliances with derogatory game changes they let the devs get away with just to get at one piece of the playerbase at the time.
there is a reason people should Not do everything they can to everyone else.
and the day will come when this finnaly truly bites the devs in the as* and i hope i get to see it.

yep i do they are trying to get at the so called Umbrells’s people keep bitching about but it is not going to work 5 mins after the update the market adapted by trebeling minerals prices AND i bet that the so call minerals stocks they think they are getting at are far vaster than they believe and even a Decade of depletion is likely not going to be effective to the so called rationing they envision

And player still people, and they will go the way with the lowest resistence and danger… most of them.
Is there an Easy Way to make ISK… they will do it.
So if its easyer to harvest Minerals in NS, with a bigger SuperCAP Umbrella, they will go to the Goons.
If they want do mining in there own System, rent a system or go to W-Space.
As I said, it was only a matter of time, at the moment we had Athanors with Moon Mining and the NS ors in the Belts.

just because the price skyrockets does not mean the minerals will be avaliable for the industry types to build with hmmm…what does the game do when all the people Making the stuff for the player markets Quit because they can not make anything to sell that will sell anymore on the markes and alliances will just make the stuff they need and screw your markets

I think you are exaggerating the outcome of this somewhat.
This change does not put any ore out of reach or remove it from the game.
Also, have you had a look at the markets? Theres no chance ships will suddenly dry up. There is an overwhelming surplus, thats why most ships are dirt cheap.
Yeah, and people cant learn any new skills to adapet to this.
You can learn how you Produce thingsm ships, stuff
You can Form a Mining and Industrie Corps and sell Stuff… or you can do this on your own.
What i only see, is someone, who cant imagine the options in EVE, and you limites only set by the boarders of your Mind and Willing in this game.

It’s not that CCP hates miners… It is just that they want to nerf mining because right now, the fact is that there is way more mining & production compared to destruction.
Mining is an activity that was too safe. With multiboxing, the same guy could come with a rorqual and 10 hulks and mine like crazy 20 hours a day and flood the market with ore… It was not really a probelm when the game was at top, but there is less and less destruction but more and more people mining afk.
I’m a miner myself but mining have to become a real activity in the game, not an afk activity in which you can mine safely anywhere with a fleet of 20 account multiboxing…
