I wish you good luck in pvp guys, once all ships area destroyed i cant see how we can produce enough ships with this ore quanity in null anomalies and moon change. And Imperium now won the game. There is no chance someone build titans and supers now
I do not care how i look
How it will hit big blocks? What, all this stockpiles of titans disapeared?
One thing for sure - big alliances will have their power and noone will be able to counter them.
Nah, this is a flawed logic.
When this kind of mechanics that are âtoo powerfullâ are not dealt with, the people who can get the most out of them are the ones who are already at the top of the food chain.
Smaller/younger/weaker players might be under the impression that those same mechanics allow them to close the gap, but what actually happen is that, since the big guys exploit it better than you, the gap just get bigger and bigger everyday.
The mechanic you believe is allowing you to catch-up is actually what make sure you never will.
My mining setup can clear a collosal anom in a couple of hours now, with such small rocks. So the small guy is gonna suffer the most - cause now he competes with me and 10 other miners on a tiny anom. I cant see how a new miner can now make it as a career.
Yea sure, us mid-larger miners with moons might make it, depends on how they roll that out. With the slow flow of minerals into the market prices are gonna get sooo high, I actually think PVP players will start crying cause now they cant afford to loose their ships, as its soooo expensive to replace on market.
Our industrialists have already reported a 25% increase in the pricing and going higher due to demand now. This impact will be felt in high sec in 2-3 weeks tops.
Sorry Sir, but I disagree. The people who maintain a lot of subs (or in big corps) will be able to go out with a Rorq and some exhumers and make a living. The prices will go up, no question about it. But this will affect the casual players and the small groups more. Big corps can easier adapt, they have all BPO-s researched and a lot of them toons are already sitting in Titans. For the small people, who are hardly working their ways (Ore, BPO, ISK, Research, etc.) towards caps, it is going to be very expensive. Itâs kinda unfair, that they can toss dozens of titans and subcaps at you, because they built them, when they were cheap and easily available, while you will have to build your own +50-75% of their prices or god forbid even more.
I agree with this sentiment fully. I think the smaller guy, casual player, solo entrepreneur, smaller groups are gonna suffer the most.
But⌠earlier in this thread you said you were only 1 char and casualâŚ
I am confused. Do you have a real point or are you just making this up as you go along in order to feel better about yourself?
Nah, honnestly this is a bad reasonning I think.
Basically you ignore the fact that the big blocs also benefit from the current price and therefore, build more titans everyday.
If the current situation allow you to build Titan, it also allow them to reinforce their fleet with even more than they already have, which at the end of the day mean that your Titans are doing nothing to help you catch-up to their fleet.
Always stockpiles as arguments⌠starts to piss me off.
Small question:
If a very large company has a lot of cash on the side, and their earnings just halfed.
And a small company with no cash on the side, and their earnings just got 10% up.
Which company just got into a better state, in relation to the other?
large blocks cannot mine with their full rorqual potential anymore (income decreases drastically)
small corps, never mined with rorquals, and have no chance to empty their few belts anyways (income increases along with the increase in mineral price)
I read a similar post you made in another thread. Iâd like to know where you are getting this info from please. Iâd like to read it for myself. Thank You
Hey, thanks for taking your time to reply.
Well I think the problem lies there, that they already have way too many big toys. This update will definitely reduce the number of big ship production in the future, but now you will face the issue, that umbrellas have dozens of capitals, while ânewerâ corps will have maybe a handful of them and the smaller corps manufactured them for more ISK, blood, sweat and tears. This patch came too late to fix the issue what we are talking about here. You just canât catch up this way, which is basically making the gap even bigger.
So, your plan to crush the Imperium was to out-mine them?
Hey, thanks for the reply.
Well I think you are putting âStockpilesâ and âResourcesâ under the same hat.
Sorry, but this is a bad example. The bad affect of the patch on bigger corps is just temporary. They will find a way in no time to adjust. Smaller corps in the other hand will also experience a temporary growth, so we are back where we started.
Sorry again, but you misuse the facts here.
You are putting way too much assumpiton on âif rorqs are nerfed, big corps will be hampered and small corps will be thrivingâ Yes, rorq potential gone down. For everybody. Letâs assume people will sit in Orcas and Exhumers. Who will mine more? The corp with 10 active members or the corp with 50?
No question who will win in the end.
I always reply, if you try to argument. Not if itâs just screeching (which it often is from others;) )
How do you get the idea that itâs just temporary? They clearly stated that in the mid run, this is it (even more extreme) and in the long run, itâs going to be dynamic. Which will be even more hurting the big guys than the smaller guys, because small guys will get full belts and big guys will get empty ones.
This is where you try to turn my arguments around. Of course, the bigger guy is still stronger, I never said that is not the case! BUT it will be diminishing in returns. A corp with 50 active people in Curse without an umbrella, used to be weaker than a 10 active people corp in a big alliance, because they could use rorquals. Now, the 50 guys will make more isk.
Of course, the reality is still, that the big alliance have better income possibilities AND have more people. But EACH average person of, lets say TEST, used to earn 200% more than an average Curse corp member. Now after the patch, an average TEST member might only earn 100% more than an average Curse corp member.
So, it does not make the smaller corp stronger, or richer, or even more lucrative, but it closes the gap of it a bit.
This is why the example I derived from real world, is extremely accurate. (except, of course, the change or similar changes are only temporary, then you would of course be right)
Not sure if it is about miners what CCP hates I am afraid, it is the game itself. CCP wants to choke mineral supplies for entire game to get it âhealthyâ. Next month CCP is gonna nerf moon mining by:
- Complete removal of all basic ore types from all moons
- Adjustments on ore volume extracted per day, per moon
- Adjustments on moon ore type yields of basic minerals".
Just wonder whether players have enough amount of patience to survive this surgery.
Thatâs exactly the thing that CCP tries to determine, so a new dynamic system wonât wander past that level.
Not going to defend the guy as I donât know him and donât much care, BUT I ought to say I think youâre a whiny little â â â â too. All your posts are basically you talking â â â â to other people or bitching about something you donât like.
So yeah, youâre not much better. Now â â â â off.
So Theron, how often do you mine?
I donât remember knowing you before this post of yours, but after reading it I have to say that I like both of you. Now, to make the second to last step of this circlejerk, I must insist you stop being a whiny little bitch yourself and please join FairyTail in â â â â â â â off. Ha, thatâs amusing.
