CCP please fix hi-sec

If you don’t think that resources being created out of thin air is a faucet, you don’t know what a faucet is.

I’m sure your post about high-sec bugs comes from a place of absolute sincerity about the health of the game mechanics, so you surely will have come up with an unbiased list of improvements some of which work against high-sec crime. I’m wondering why you didn’t post those.

Make up any rule and toss it in a sandbox, people will mostly play around them beyond the scope and/or design intent for those rules. Any video game programmed and designed by people will tend to have flaws and ways to work around them. This is especially true in EVE Online.

So depending on the intent of High-Sec and Sec Status and Concord, we have to ask, is the sum total of these game design decision tally up to the intended effect? If yes, then it is as intended, if no, then it is not and could be considered as “broken” but only to the one who made the rules in the first place, CCP.

Unless CCP clearly stated and promised a “safe haven” in high sec, then the rest is just emergent behaviors from player choice… It’s just the way it is. Many people may not agree but they weren’t promised anything different.

I will however admit that sometimes I believe CCP always tries to get players to do something and they end up doing the opposite. Human nature I guess.

Compared to what?

Just because players (at least used to be) congratulated on finding a new exploit to enjoy, doesnt mean the game had any more flaws than any other.

That’s because CONCORD hates carebears!

Never buy a permit , just learn to watch local and watch out for strange people , like someone said it’s simple

Ehh, you could change the way you play and live your life in a way more paranoid fashion, OR you could just get a permit.

Options are what make this game great!

CCP, please fix highsec let’s go back to the good old days when you didn’t over simplify and nerf half the game mechanics to favor the lazy and afk crowd.

S-so we need to fix high sec?
There wasn’t anything else you could think of fixing?
Let’s permantely put people at a low security status and never ever let them fix it.
I’m sure people will be pleased

so where does the ISK come from that pays for raw ores, through intermediate products, to ship hulls, modules and other stuff? It doesn’t come from the ore, that’s a commodity that takes time and effort to mine and refine - not to mention ISK. Where does that ISK come from?

Ratting bounties.

If you want to destroy an economy, you destroy the currency. Sure, nape a few million acres of coffee, but so what? I got two years’ supply of freeze dry, that’s more than enough to wait out the recovery process.
