Because of ignorance of people. Everything I say either gets ignored, taken out of context, or misinterpreted, and it’s infuriating. Therefore they get the same lack of respect that they show me.
I feel for that pilot. Had it happen to me, log off trick t3 landed on my VNI before my afterburner could finish cycling, pointed me and dropped a Panemic Legion Nyx on me.
A Nyx. On my cruiser…
Wormhole people don’t have to deal with Super Carriers popping out of nowhere to kill cruisers, which is why they don’t understand that null would be unplayable for all but the people who turtled under their own supercap shell if you take away local but leave the cynos.
There is no explaining reality to an ideologue or zealot, which is why talking to the “no local” types leads nowhere. CCP needs to implement localless null sec so they can see the devastation it would bring, not only to the ‘nullbears’ they hate (and hate blinds people to reason), but also themselves as null is the engine that powers many things in EVE.
Exactly, removing local would just ruin null sec balance completely.
You are trying too hard again, lol.
Well I have brought caps through ratting income, although now I have multiple income sources.
He brought up the Rev to show what tends to drop in Provi, like normal you have extrapolated that to make some sort of naff point.
Local is no work, tell that to the guy who sets up to watch the PL Jamunda Fortizar, lmao…
Not sure what point you are trying to make, I will talk and debate with people and be reasonable if they are reasonable. The example here is Salvos, read our exchange above, it is a debate, where we are exploring our different point of views, there is no need for us to start getting personal at all and we don’t, we talk about the issues. We disagree on local and on Citadels, but we respect each other.
Compare that to many of the others, and by the way I only start calling them out after they twist my words out of context, attack me personally, say something outrageous and then act as if I said it, change my quotes to suit their narrative etc., then I go for them to expose their techniques.
A couple of times in the past I had jumped the gun on a couple of people, you was one and Remiel was the other and I apologised both times.
Yes I am being a forum warrior for taking them on, but only because I have to.
I want to quote this as it is the reality, Jenn and I often disagree, but this is part of what I am talking about in terms of my opposition to removing local and why WH people just do not get it.
For feths sake! Come out of your hole, and try ratting in a fething Nid or Thana these days in KBP, R3-K or even S9X. Good luck with that. Risk free. Yeah.
Also. Not everybody can or want to fly a giant, lumbering, slow slap of metal. The giant bullseye on it aside.
You just don´t have a clue.
If you think that would happen in a game like EvE which is famous for the playerbase’s ability to adapt and game any system, you are quite simply mistaken.
Not empty quoting ^
You are very naive.
People do adapt. We adapted in March of 2011 in response to the Anomaly nerf.. We adapted with High Sec incursion alts, low sec incursion and lvl 5 blitzing alts, and taking space to rent out to renters too dumb to know that we were fleecing them for systems with few or no sanctums, havens and forsaken hubs.
Compared to removing local, the anomaly nerf was peanuts. Back then there were no 200 million isk per hour blitzable burner missions, SOE LP blitzing in high sec was a thing but not nearly as popular as it became when CCP added the SOE ships to the LP store, and now CCP are adding things like Pirate FOBs that stand to have at least decent rewards.
We’d adapt alright, we’d adapt our arses right back out of null to the safety of high sec PVE like we did the last time someone at CCP got some bright and surefire way to 'increase conflict in null sec".
Still, I want it to happen, because as I’ve been saying, that would be the only way to prove what a disaster no local + gates + cynos would be. Talking is not enough.
The problem aren’t other people, it’s you. If you’d have anything logical or remotely intellectual to say for once maybe people wouldn’t respond to you like you’re some idiot living under a bridge.
[logical conclusion or citation needed]
Funny that you’d say that. Might I suggest you take your own advice? That is, if you really have a functional brain, which you have yet to prove.
No, he is right. That is exactly what would happen. History is proof of that. You’re just too stupid to get it.
Well you tell us all why removing local won’t make it unprofitable to mine or rat in null then seeing as you are super smart.
It’s all there in the first 750 posts, go and read them for once.
How do you adapt to being hotdropped by cloaky cyno ships without local, that are also capable of out-escalating anything you have to fight with? I’m all ears.
Do you have a magic crystal ball that can see into the future? I don’t.
But I’m also smart enough to look at the past to be absolutely certain that people will adapt to this. And if you truly believe all that CCP would do is remove local and leave the rest the way it is, then you truly have proven yourself a very stupid moron.
I wrote LOGICAL conclusion, not buckets full of salt and tears mixed together with purely emotional arguments that defy any and all logic.
Answer:
See? I can do that too. And unlike you I’m actually right.
Ok. Keep a JC in a quiet HS/LS pocket away from wardecs, or use an alt.
Have things changed for APOC recently where you can’t lean on all of proviblock to help?
Nice cop out.
Nice cop out.
Nice cop out.
No.
Post it in my carebox.
to summarize, you want all the benefits of null, but none of the dangers or consequences.
The health of the game is fine. The real problem resides in the fact that security networks are getting better and more efficient at keeping pirates from attacking in their SOV and the pirates can take it.
Want surprise ganking? Go join CODE in High Sector at least you’ll get kills everyday and not have to worry about intel channels any longer.
Or maybe its time to go play Minecraft.
to summarise nullsec is too hard for you …
Why should you be able to fly up to me with a covert cyno and drop a fleet to kill me in 5 seconds even if I play correctly? Why should you be 100% safe?
