CCP Totally Failed it's Hsec players

Yes, exactly. I wouldn’t mess with that player sheriff. He commands various squadrons of CONCORD and empire navy forces to fearsome effect. One day, I hope to be as skilled and respected in the cluster as he is.

If he were present when privateer puffalot was being molested by his illegitimate attacker, I am sure the outcome would’ve been quite different.

I do but the offer of speed dating is on the table Did you not see the thread? Time is running out!

The machine spirit of that ship was screaming to end its pain lol.

This rookie is an F1 Monkey

and a venture gankerer

Yet has no clue how to fit a ship ?

Wait a second, are you saying that privateer puffalot is actually a criminal?

That’s not one, but two illegal transgressions against unarmed mining vessels!

@puffalot explain yourself, convict!

Wait what are we looking at?

A faker? Good work looking this up!

Btw I still have 550 million to send.

1st pilot to evemail me….

in fairness, those are lowsec kills, aka: honorabru space combat.

he was suspect if he shot your MTU. He was Suspect Baiting you.

You weren’t ‘neutered’, he had a Nosferatu fit which drains your cap and feeds it to him.

And yes, once he’d killed your drones, you were helpless. Those honking, huge, long range railguns will never hit an afterburning frigate that’s orbiting you in scram range.

There’s a lesson in that engagement if you care to learn it.

How is it honorable to kill an unarmed industrial ship?

You know, just because you go to a less safe part of town, doesn’t mean that assault suddenly becomes legal.

Actually he was

neuter

To completely and utterly defeat an opponent during PvP.

To win with great extent. A humiliating defeat

It’s in Lowsec. It’s not a criminal act. It’s a suspect one.

And if you have the time to lock up a Venture and get three points on it in a Brutix, well, that Venture had it coming.

Welcome to Eve. It’s working exactly as intended. You fell for what is known as ‘suspect baiting’…a perfectly legitimate tactic. The other guy deliberately makes himself a suspect, and you attack him not realising that actually he has the better fit. It seems counter-intuitive, as you’d think you have the bigger and better ship and can blow him out of the water…but…

You might think your stonking great Megathron with its 425mm guns would trash some puny little Nergal, but in fact the suspect baiter has the advantage precisely because you moved in close ( as intended ) and your guns turret tracking cannot hope to hit him as he kites around you. And as you have by that stage ‘agreed’ to fight him…all you can do is watch in horror as his Entropic Disintegrator ( which spools up and gets more powerful with time ) demolishes your ship.

You wouldn’t be the first noob to fall for suspect baiting…I did myself early on, only to find the baiter had his ship packed with expensive Caldari Navy shield replenishers. Unlike in your case, the baiter messaged me after and offered to pay for my ship ( I declined )…and explained suspect baiting to me. It was all quite amicable…and…lesson learned. And I’m still in the game 2 years later and doing well.

He used a sabre.

The venture had it coming but the greedy megathron didn’t after attacking a little nergal with his 500 million badass sh?t fit megathron?

oh killing that megathron made New Eden a better place.

Are you operating close to a trade hub? If so just be like 8+ jumps away from one.

Won’t help - noobies give off an unmistakable scent . In this case it was a mercy killing.

Starter systems say no.

They simply moved from Nijara to Udema.

Lets try this.

"Dear CCP, I strongly object to the increased taxation on industry implemented in the recent patch. After many years of a steadily declining market with little to no profit margin, this latest change only further weakens the ability for smaller industrialists to compete fairly in the markets. Too many resources that were once plentiful in high security space are now locked behind low security space, limiting the agency of high security industrialists to be self staining. The increased costs of acquiring these materials has enable wide scale extortion by special interest groups that threatens the viability of almost every small scale industrialist that makes up the backbone of high security production.

I humbly request alternatives to the increase to the industry tax be considered before high security industry is permanently and irrevocably harmed by this assault on the player driven economy.

Oh for sure. Miners and Industrialists have been racing prices to the bottom for years. Considering how much PLEX has gone up, its about time everything else goes up too.

CCP could just go back to industry slots in NPC stations, make slots a function of the manufacturing service module in citadels. More citadels, more wars, wars over production rights and give value to putting down a citadel by virtue of not having to wait a week to build 10 large containers.

That is an idea. Charge people for the M^3 all their stuff takes up. A solution that even works at scale.

Well, Kinda. There was that problem of people using fillaments to evac stuff for a long while.

Just wait until you wake up and find out you are getting roflstomped in the off hours by another time zone. Everyone who proposes this mechanic thinks they are going to be doing the kicking, forgetting that the CN tz is very dominant will have no difficulty in ‘liberating’ your stuff from its hangar.

Its not like Null spent years living out of a POS with no asset safety.

That’s not true…and I already provided you with the CCP info that says so. It is ONLY an exploit to shoot ‘rookies’ ( people under 30 days old ) in those starter systems. Two players over 30 days old can have at it as much as they like in any 1.0 starter system.

I pass through Uedama several times a day. It is the epitomy of tameness compared with Ahbazon.

It’s feels like some days we are just talking to ourselves

I just don’t see the point of all this drama…

Btw I still have 550 million to send.

1st pilot to evemail me….

Well nobody even cares other than the CCP controlled NPC’s

Thank you Enauweyle Lermenlieu, I appreciate the evemail I had received from you today!
