EVE is not about balance, it is about survival of the fittest.
Now stop whining and buy a mining permit like everyone else.

There is zero reward proposition for 99% of activities in the game. The time-to-reward ratio is ridiculously anti-player for most.
Of course unless you are one of the useless cogs in a nullsec clique that is decided by less than 10 people…
Absolute Tosh.
PvP is fun, scamming is fun, looting your wreck is fun, even looking at a rock spin is fun if you a miner (why though I have no idea).
Err, not correct.
A ship that’s stopped can warp to something behind it just as fast as something in front of it. From zero velocity, the direction you’re facing doesn’t matter.
You could higgs rig your barge and stay aligned while moving at a crawling pace. You would then slip into warp immediately.
What ever Governor Lee requires.
Now at the height of our anti-ganking adventure’s , we often ran mining ops in isanamo and other gankers hot spots, we advertised in local and not once did the gankers attack .
So why didn’t they attack , two reasons come to mind , one is the embarrassment if they did attack and fail, I of course
would have posted here and secondly as they know who we are thought it was just bait anyway .
The Witch queen did attack at one point but it was very half-hearted attack with frig that was never going to succeed anyway and I’m sure it was to see what our defences were.
One of our ew burst frigate stopped them.
Anyway the point if you know what your doing you can mine any place , even a vipers den.
The people who actually mined had a good 3 hours doing what they like , as we did advertise this in all channels we did hope for a bit of a battle but alas they never really want to fight us.
Nothing funnier than somebody who has no clue, giving advice.
Military strategy has never been your strong point, best stick to mining sweetie.
You could’ve condensed all of that into “I once mined for 3 hours.”
Mined and set off an e-war burst, good point
I trust that all your mining permits were up to date
Any game is antiproductive really. Why they are diversions from irl lol. Sometimes you jsut need to waste time. I game, my wife watches some, to me, awful crap on netflix.
Each has its place since its really subjective to what people like really.
CONCORD could put criminal clones into EVE JAIL for repeated offenses, like Facebook does, for a certain period of time. @Notjedi
You can say what you want but just having the direction lined up helps when a death ball pops up on your UI and shoves all the stations down your overlay. Saved my ass before, align time or not, I know which direction the closest station is without a menu.
Relaxation and fun are productive and necessary for one’s mental health.
Setup tabs on your overview, one for just warpable objects
I remember when I actually bothered to mine years ago I would white knuckle grip my mouse staring at a station marker when there were more than 10 people in-system. I was way too high stress about this game back then.
Mining barges are slow, can mine it’s roid for a while if aligned, there really is no excuse not to keep aligned and insta warp when a flashy appears.
Well I’m glad I said it anyway. It’s been a long time. I’m not perfect. I don’t remember everything and folk were more than happy to elaborate on it. Cut me some slack, eh?
Or have your Locations window open so you can see your “0km dock”?
Right click, warp…
CCP hasn’t failed.
You’ve failed.
You failed to learn from your mistakes.
You failed to learn how to avoid ganks.
But most of all, you’ve failed to understand that CONCORD is a righteous retribution mechanic, not a prevention one.
Gankers come at you fully aware that they will lose their ships. Nothing will save them from CONCORD. Its specifically stated that avoiding CONCORD in any way is regarded as an exploit.
That’s why they bring overwhelming firepower. Fail-Ganks are embarrassing. They do the math, figure out exactly how many catalysts or thrashers they need to be certain of success.
