The event is simple, which is good—I didn’t mind repeating the sites. But the rewards felt questionable, and that’s why ISK/hour matters. Even events are still the same game and content, so originality is hard. ISK/hour ends up ruling the day, and that’s fine—it actually makes reused content work. Without ISK, the game wouldn’t stay fun for long.

Why are you simping for a corporation that doesn’t know who you are and doesn’t really care much about you? Why are you in this thread whining and whining about an opinion that is different than yours?
I am a PAYING CUSTOMER and thus, I am entitled to CRITICIZE THE PRODUCT. I didn’t say I hate everything about EVE, I was talking specifically about this event and PVE in general. It’s pretty obvious if you bother to read everything I say instead of being a little zealot.
I enjoy EVE as a whole, with the player run economy, the one big server, the persistence of things, owning structures and space, many aspects of pvp and industry, the lawlessness of space and so on.
What I hate is the monotony of PVE and CCP’s incapability to improve it. Everything just boils down to sitting there and clicking one button. Or in case of mining, clicking two buttons while tabbing between a dozen different accounts - which you need to do very fast now thanks to mining update. All of it is mind numbingly boring the vast majority of time, and much of it is also ridiculously unrewarding. But it doesn’t have to be. Even CCP have acknowledged and shown us it can be better - but then half the time they completely fumble everything again, like this year’s Winter nexus.

I am also a paying customer, and my opinion is just as valid as yours.
The fact that you think anyone that likes Eve is a simp tells me all I need to know about you. It’s your way or the highway. Well guess what, here it’s CCP’s way or the highway.
You have every right to voice your opinion, and I have every right to tell you to stuff your attitude. CCP’s job is to make as many people happy as possible, so there will always be people who are unhappy with any event. Sucks you’re one of them, but fu¢king get over yourself already. Not every single aspect of this game must be tailored to your specifications.

Everyone saying that the Winter Nexus sucks, please develop your own space-based environmental platform and implement your winter event.
Having a paid subscription to Eve Online and therefore being entitled to criticizing does sound a lot like the s i mp from Trek BBS who bought a paid membership and thought he was entitled to say whatever he wanted as well.
The mods shut that sh*t down.

PvE will ALWAYS be monotonous in EVE, you’re sitting in a community of the most hardcore min-maxers that exist, there is basically nothing CCP can throw at us that we won’t manage to game in to triviality
PvE also isn’t the main focus of the game, PvP is, PvE exists as a way to make pretty much guaranteed income in order to facilitate explosions
What is wrong with you? Of course customers have a right to criticize the product they purchase. If you buy a burger, and they forget the toppings, do you go “Oh well, nothing I can say to that. I should build up my own fast food restaurant if I want to criticize others.”
