Guess you learned not to inject until we get patch notes.

Same… JF pilot, fine with this… Just means I have to seed some indy’s at mids, which I can do with one trip. I mean, sure I’d rather they still work on newb ships, but this isn’t the end of the world. Better than having to train covert cynos on cyno only toons for JF chain.

It’s not me, I know for a fact that some people already did

and what about the people they only wasted time training for it? The alternative being logistics networks suddenly being taking down effectively over night with a turn around of over a month to being operational again?

There is no way you screw this pooch that this isn’t CCP screwing people.

@CCP_Rise

Does this mean we can get a refund of the SP we wasted on injecting Covert Cynos for our Jump Freighter cyno toons since you guys have decided to do a complete 180 on what you posted?

Think about how many people did this to be prepared for the changes that you said were coming…

Thanks.

Wasted a week? So? lol

Any logistics network that gets “taken down” by any of these changes is ■■■■.

I’ve already got a bunch of clownshoes ready to jump to my mid-points to seed.

Normally I wait before acting on announced changes, but I already use clownshoes anyway, and they are super cheap regardless.

Refund of sp for a cyno char is still unfair, if someone doesn’t want that char to do anything else than cyno

Already put in my tickets 5 accounts 11 pilots 12 days of training each and I know that is just chump alts for most people.

Aug 14th announcement would take down most logistics network as their is literally NO reason for logistics cyno alts to every have been trained into covert cyno beacons. The Aug 26th change fixes these, but screws anyone who prepared for the Aug 14th change. I use nothing but clown shoes, I would have had no issue with this change if it was announced 12 days ago.

So happy to see that you guys aren’t completely deaf to your player community. Now if only the Rorqual - a capital INDUSTRIAL ship, can use an industrial cyno. Then I will be 100% happy.

Several of mine are cov ops trained. Used to be able to covert drop medium structures in systems. Able to move a blops fleet several mids and not have to reposition on the way back or lose a DPS fleet member.

Once the change was made final, logistics groups worth their ■■■■ would have been ready to be set up by the time it goes live.

Agreed.

CCP isn’t thinking rationally. This is a “Try to screw Goons” campaign at its core. They don’t give a rats A** who gets caught in the crossfire.

Okay CCP, so first you pissed off most of the game population by changing Cynos with regard to Capitals, while mildly annoying JF pilots. Cool. It happens.

Now you’ve made ANOTHER change to keep the population mad about cynos, and now piss off the Jump Freighters.

If the issue is truly about “Memorial Cynos” then make a unique cyno mod that is titled, wait for it, “Memorial Cyno” - Have it be SPECIAL, make different colors, spell out that eyes forward poem above the ship, etc.

Your original goal appeared to be focused on making JF cynos a bit more expensive / risky to use (while still giving them a chance to survive / be sneaky). Now you’ve just made it complete cancer to set up a cyno network beyond two jumps.

Wanna go 5 or 6 jumps deep, cool. Burn your Iteron or Nereus or other defenseless indy ship deep into hostile territory. Now, if you made it (spoiler alert: you didn’t), cyno up - die - load up into the next indy ship you had in your JF (20k m3 repackaged btw), and off you go again.
Still with me? Great.

Now we are at our destination. But what’s that? Oh no, you have to go all the way back to Jita to get the cargo you wanted to bring in the first place. Be sure to pack 10 extra 20k m3 ships so you can get back … oh wait now there’s no room for cargo.

I know this is sarcastic, but it’s honestly how it will go. You are taking an already dull part of the game (freight logistics) and making it BEYOND dull to the point where it’s literally worse than not playing the game at all. There is absolutely no fun to be had in this. If the argument is “well JF cynos should cost more” - a 1 mil indy ship isn’t gonna make it cost more.

Go back to how you had it, covert cynos on recons etc. Put the different cyno module as a memorial cyno fittable to any ship. Make it so no ship can jump to it and make it special! It should stand out.

This solves multiple problems. 1. Cynos for JFs cost more, but have a chance of staying alive/letting logistics move without being noticed in the blackout (good). 2. Players can have a SPECIAL module for memorials rather than the bland vanilla cyno. 3. All the people complaining about training into cov ops / cyno 5 will stop.

Not likely given the combat abilities of the ship.

So you’re mad because you jumped the gun on something that was in the pipeline but not finalized. No one to blame but yourself.

Why JF take so light chaos, more chaos… why my capitals must jump on recon or BO, but JF only some industrial with special cyno at least make this cyno fit only on transport ship, then will be better for chaos, Am I right? This is your end point of this era?
