One of the most important tools in a capsuleers arsenal is the Player List of the Local Chat.
It is so important that people usually move the window to a standalone spot on their monitor, namely bottom right corner of the screen.
The problem with that is that since the member list is always on the right side of the window, it makes it impossible to put this very important information towards the center of the screen unless you make it very small, revealing only the player list like this:
By using solution you lose the functionality of the actual chat.
Giving players the ability to move the member list to the left while putting the actual chat on the right will make for more flexibility, usability of the UI and utilization of screen real estate.
