They show HS suicide ganking is no longer niche.
Its becoming a stupidly efficient method of HS aggression, that does not involve wardec or legal methods.
Losing only 50bil to net 2.76 TRILLION in 04.2018, via suicide ganking in HS, is ridiculous.

Even Hilmar has been ganked and he’s the CEO of Eve Online. All the Devs have been ganked. You log into Eve online expect at some point to get ganked. Even the gankers get ganked. Everyone gets ganked. Nothing else to see here time to move on.

Yes, clearly people want less safety. That’s why Goons have over 30k characters (37k at some point even) and can rat under a nearly perfect supercapital protection umbrella in Delve. Clearly, people are looking for more danger and excitement.
If only someone would make those areas of space less secure where 92% of the ISK is being generated …

Fat freighters explode, normal freighters explode all freighters at some point explode. Eve is designed about exploding ships, especially the expensive ones.

Goons don’t live in space policed by concord. They use capital fleets ready to drop at a moments notice as do the rest of the major null bear alliances.
