CODE: From the Perspective of a Non-Miner

I mean, you just encompassed the entirety of the player base with that description, so I guess everyone in EVE is a rotting skunk? I don’t think there are any demographics left into which you can classify any other players…

Ya know…that is fair enough, probably…

My goodness, all that just from losing a venture! “Don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose” very much includes affording emotionally.

James has his hands full with losing his ‘fortress’ atm…

You could argue CCP encourages CODE to gank with game mechanics. All they have to do is fleet warp their group on top of you.

Please name any other game where controlling the movement on a whole bunch of accounts at the exact same time is built into the game itself?

Its irony, on one hand they say they don’t promote 1 button inputs with isboxer, but on the other they create a 1 button input of their own so they can say “look how pretty that is, all those ships flying together”. Oh and look its a mechanic that is always used in ganking, o gee i wonder why.

Carebears have this amazing persecution complex that makes them think that any quality-of-life change put into the game was specifically intended by CCP to be a boost to ganking, at the expense and suffering of honest, hardworking miners everywhere.

It’s adorable. :smile_cat:

Its not intended, but it is hypocritical to attack botters while providing 1 button inputs of your own.

Fleet warp was created in order to allow a fleet of various ships, which have different warp speeds, to arrive at their destination at the same time. It was not made specifically so that ganking would be more efficient.

Also, are you seriously defending botters right now?

If fleet warping was gone tomorrow, i don’t think it would be code kicking up a fuss.

They just use the tools that are there.

I am not trying to defend botting but i am trying to point out fleet warp is pretty indistinguishable from 1 button isboxer for warping.

Don’t mind me, I’m just here to enjoy all the tears

That’s like saying that a boxing match inside a ring is pretty indistinguishable from a bare-knuckle street fight in a back alley.

Talk about stretching…

Fleetwarp is to botting what a vacuum cleaner is to a blackhole.

Fleet warp has mechanics in place that take the slowest ship speed and apply it to the entire fleet, so they will arrive together and can operate functionally as a group.

This is not the same as input broadcasting ‘warp to target’ on those 50 unique ships.

Do bots potentially benefit from fleet warp? Yes. Does that make fleet warp bad? No.

The latter two suck; just like his comparison.

no
fleet warp is not bad per se
but i have a IRL friend that cannot access the distance of his ship from other ships and have more than 3 TRILLIONS with a T in kills on zkill
and he made me jump 30 jumps to play ONE arena with me, and got back do delve , “to find a good fit”, never to be seen again until 2v2 cruiser event ended :stuck_out_tongue:

I have no idea why you think that is relevant to warp speed in fleet maneuvers?

???
cant understand

edit:
i think you don’t get my point
im saying that now that the fc can move warp approach etc the fleet members
one can have a very impressive number o kills without knowing much about the game mechanics

edit:
and calling my IRL friend a null bear :stuck_out_tongue:

How is it not the same thing if it does the exact same thing?

Finish reading it. Then let me know what you think.
