Combat ceptors, still homeless

At least Anderson is smart. Needs to be force-fed an entire bottle of chill pills like a goose, but smart.

Meanwhile, there are people walking around these parts who are not only as caustic, but also have the erudition of one of those wacky flailing arm inflatable tube men you see at used car dealerships. Those are the ones you have to watch out for; the ones that give you Romero zombie vibes right away.

That is debatable really.

She uses Pyfa in her posts - that has to be worth something.

The basic main argument should be “I fly the slasher, or the Atron, Executioner or Condor, they are a personal favorite to me and would prefer a more powerful version of them”. That is what the combat interceptors are currently, most people don’t fly the T1 counterparts so why should you have an opinion on what the T2 version should do?

Some of the suggestions in the thread would work better on Electronic attack ships instead.

this

edit: now with less :salt:

I don’t agree with this. Combat interceptors have relatively high DPS potential (for frigates), while EAS attack at range and have very little offensive functionality. Why would you increase the resilience of ships that are already resilient because of their e-war?

this is a small fast and sexy pack of DEATH
only flaw is not being amarr

Several actually good ideas in this thread so far. I’d really like to see some feedback on this topic from ccp. Odds are it will die here and this entire class of ships will continue to be useless indefinitely. I hope not.

this topic is awesome except the part that in reality combat captors are used and are good already

They’re good? In what scenario would you choose a combat ceptor over its nullified counterpart? In that scenario does the combat ceptor outperform it’s t1 self in any meaningful way? My answer to those questions is almost never, and outright no respectively.

Lowsec FW.

not everyone is a null bear so being nilified or not is not a issue to LOOOOOOTS of people

they are objectively stronger than the t1 counterpart , like a t2 should

i can agree that they are a bit on the expensive side , but that kinda support my argument

and btw just look at zkill they have pages of kills every day

Theyre forced into small and up plex. Nothing in there they want to be fighting.

10x more expensive than the t1 btw. Assault frigs are filling the role you use them in better than they could ever hope to. That’s much more value at the exact same price point.

P.S. I’m not saying nerf assault frigs again. That’s not how to make these useful again, it never was.

assault frigs needs a nerf i agree

Several of those already. We’ll pass
