Any idea the time frame for the launcher to install its update? ie mine download fully at 10.55 UTC/Eve time and is currently still sat waiting to install. This is why I wanted to get the launcher myself injstead of having to rely on a broken launcher application to manage itself.
The code was deployed, so the patch should have installed already.
it isnt the patch i am waiting for to happen but rather the launcher updater itself. 30 minutes since it said 100% downloaded and it still has not switched to do the installation. New Version 1850297
Then I will need to get any game update if there is one

Can you advise the address I need to go to to download the launcher then please and I don’t mean the game installer.

From what I can see the game Installer is the primary tool to get the game and the launcher installed. Running a fresh installation should resolve any issues you might be encountering with the launcher at the moment.

so you’re telling me to complete a total reinstallation of the game to get a fresh version of the launcher when the launcher itself is a seperate entity that is managing itself?
I understand that that might be the primary way of acquiring the launcher when you don’t already have it and the game installed but surely there is a way to download just the executable file to install the launcher itself. The launcher seems to be capable of doing just exactly that.
You can copy the game files to another location to save yourself the need to re-download everything, as per instructions on the page I linked. If you would like to find a different solution, you will get much better help from our tech wizards in Customer Support
