CONCORD introduces the Dynamic Bounty System

Given I quoted both parts of your comment in seperate quotes, what part am I wrong about? The jealousy or the laziness? I cant admit to being wrong if you havent given me a third option to be right about.

No meaning yes, because its the same thing. They win you lose, or again are you trying to allude to something you havent actually said?

Yes, its the same objective. Im not defending or attacking it, Im telling you what they have said it is.

If you dont think the bottom line of any companuy is to make money (no matter how bad they are at it), then you really are just spinning in circles now.

Ask CCP. THey dont care about your spend, though, they care about the spend of the players who will replace you when you quit in disgust.
THATS THEIR POINT

If you wont be a cash cow for em, they will find some one who will.

I mean the fact you are arguing with someone who has had a great many of their professions reduced in value so that CONSIDERING spending $ on PLEX to (just get a little PvP for fun maybe) is an actual possiblility… well it says you are actually just happier being angry that gathering support to make your concerns heard.

Because you have decided so, so it is.

So when you said that your profession was destroyed and you werent going to drive buses like several of us suggested, you lied because of your pride.

See thats the nub.

When I see all those botter tears in this thread I know this change is spot on

Well done CCP :kissing_heart: :ok_hand:

The second one answered the first one, but didn’t fit your narrative, so the actual explanation was cut out, and the rest driven out of context for the sake of narrative pushing demagogy rather than any discussion attempt.

So I am getting kicked instead of the other guy, because I’m jealous and lazy.
The narrative is getting more and more ridiculous the deeper we go.

Except they win not because of a something they or I did, but because of a CCP intervention going horribly off course. If it doesn’t turn back on course, there is nothing I can do to avoid collision.

So they make money by implementing a change that lost them a lot of money.
Like I said, narrative getting more and more ridiculous.

There are companies that do not have making money as an objective. The world has 5.6 million non-profit organizations.
Now, I do not say CCP is a non-profit, of course. But at the same time, there are other motivations than profit. For example, insanity, when some man who’s name starts with H and ends with ilmar suddenly decides his vision of how things should be is more important than money, and there’s not enough reason flying around to suckerpunch him back into reality. He then proceeds to install incompetents like Burger into positions to implement that vision no matter the cost, and we get blackout fiasco as a result.

What’s wrong with me, actually? I’ve been paying my sub for multiple accounts like everyone else. All they had to do, is to not do the obviously insane things like blackout, and dish nerfs out fairly, and they won’t have pissed me off, and still had my sub going.
What grave sin did I actually commit to be treated this way?

Support is there. My first post is one of the most liked in this thread. I do not need to gather support. I just need to voice exactly what’s going wrong here.

Because they stated the problem and objective in their wealth presentation. I was not among the problem, and therefore there is no objective in shafting me while NOT shafting those who were among the problem.

Now the narrative, and not me, controls what I said?
I said I will exhaust my other options before doing the unrecoverable conversion.
Instantly reducing risks is the option that went right in after mining got removed, if you don’t replaces ships you don’t need to mine, so it was a no-brainer. And I said that when we were talking about mining changes, but narrative pushed it further beyond.

Your self obession, clearly demonstrated in how any time I ask for clarification without hyperbole from you, its me forming a “narrative”, unlike your “CCP are doing this to harm me specifically”, apparently.

Enjoy being miserable then, because obviously you have no interest in directing energy in any other direction. Which includes trying to gain support from others in similar situations.

I highly doubt high-sec mining is more profitable than null sec mining but you are very welcome to show me where and with what in high sec you mine to make ~60m/h with a 4 man mining fleet.
Not talking about capital mining now. Just Booster + Barges/Exumers.
Even with the recent tritanium price explosion i highly doubt HS mining is profitable at all compared to null sec. It maybe was equal until the moons in HS got stripped of normal ore like bistot, gneis etc, but now?

But feel free to enlight me please. Maybe i just miss something (honestly on that!)

The information provided to you is correct.

At the moment, best ore available freely in nullsec is Bistot, worth 217 ISK/m3 in total minerals amount in it, and Veldspar currently sits at 320 ISK/m3, which makes mining it 60% more profitable than best nullsec has to offer.

A single perfect Hulk at no implants, boosted by perfect Orca with mindlink, with a full set of T2 miner drones, will pull 57.5m3/sec. Multiply that by 320 ISK/m3 of Veldspar, and voila, 66 million ISK. Of course, that is before refining, and assuming non-stopping yield, etc, but you get the picture, that it’s entirely possible to reach 60mil/hr with 2 man mining fleet (Orca with drones + Hulk), not to mention 4.

To keep the game online, you specifically introduced a subscription discount, as you know people will leave.
Your update will again lead to a decrease in the number of people playing, and you want to disguise this by buying a subscription for a long time and at the expense of the ongoing war.
Sooner or later it will be the same as with blackout - you will lose players, many of whom will no longer return to the game.

16 year old game tries to do something new to revitalize the bloated ecosystem.
Some random forum kid screaming “EVE IS DYING” for the 12,782nd time.
Never change, official forum kids, never change.

I wonder how small alliances develop, if they can barely control even small territories, and you force them to increase.
In addition, the mechanics are incomprehensible, the ESS will need to be killed, or you just flew in and take the claims.
If you just take that it is worth flying on stealth ships and robbing everyone? Who will try to catch all the time without a chance?

How about…

You just wait and see what the changes are actually like in-game, before freaking out with all these assumptions that you are making up out of nowhere?

You have already changed Eve with your blackout. Brought online to 16K and lost a bunch of players. Continue to step on the same rake.

Hindsight is 20/20, kid. And yeah, it’s called experimenting and learning. You should try it sometime. CCP Devs even admitted that they’ve learned a lot from blackout and “Chaos Era” last year. You’re only saying this because you can look back and see the ultimate results of the change.

But here you are, without knowing ANY of the results from this change, claiming it’s going to kill EVE. You don’t have the benefit of hindsight for this, and are going off assumptions you’ve just made up on your own.

So again, sit down and wait for the changes to go through before crying “EVE IS DEAD”.

Hmmm. Someone shouted Eve is dead? If I didn’t say anything before this change, now if I see that it’s ■■■■ because it smells like ■■■■, in shape like ■■■■, why do you propose to unfold the piece of paper and make sure that it really will be ■■■■?

I will never not be surprised at how EVE Online can have some of the smartest people I know, while also having some of the absolutely dumb nonfunctional creatures who are supposedly fully grown adult human beings.

Time will judge.

You do realise that he is absolutely correct and that there is even mathematical proof of that?

" and assuming non-stopping yield " well here is your error for me.
Yes in theory this is correct but due to belt sizes you will not be able to actually get close to that.
I think it is more realistic that you get aprox. 1 orca load per 45-60mins in high sec belts.

As if anyone with a living brain cell in their head had any doubt how blackout will go.
Just as anyone with a living brain cell in their head can tell how this will go.

Experimenting and learning is one thing, repeating the same mistake, which was obviously a mistake even before the first time - is the opposite of learning, it’s a demonstration of total lack of all learning abilities.

It takes me about 8 hours or so on my alt.

so making assumptions about it would be silly.

this whole update is silly
