With such an attitude, I stop paying for accounts, play this CCP game yourself.

well bring an afterburner cause you cant use a mwd and its has a warp disruption range of 75km

Someone needs to learn what used to happen when DST overheated hardeners to get over 100% resists.

Or when AHARM used to use so damned many Tracking Disruptors on their own ships that they wrapped the tracking penalties around to give themselves perfect tracking and infinite range.

Look up the Rooks & Kings videos for that gem.

Then why are all these stupid changes happening? Was the game that “boring” to the Devs. Were we not playing their game, and only our game? I’ll say sorry that i don’t find the Trig stuff fun, if that would help.

Game is controlled by nullsec alliances with large numbers of accounts but low numbers of actual players, these alliances despise new players and all of high sec. Why does ccp allow them to control the game? Because bot users / addicts are willing to subscribe on dozens of accounts, no new players will ever be as valuable as an addict, so they favor the section of the game with the highest spend per account.

It was a massive propagoonda push in 2013 to “nerf hisec”, literally everyone else was against it, but CFCCP being CFCCP, hisec was nerfed into oblivion.

It’s also true that nullsec used to be an economy of scale, where more accounts means more power, but look at it now, the ore is worthless, the bounties are about to get removed, I am even afraid to speak up about what else can I do to earn at least SOME ISK in nullsec after this so it won’t get nerfed as well.

But seriously, why would I hate a hisec player?

My Money is on a “Rattting Director” title in each Alliance with Diplo roles. When a system gets to low they talk to a nearby Alliance and setup friendly raids in the system to raise the numbers back up. That would fix it simple and quickly, the PVP boys would love it also. Fights every night…

I doubt that having the multiplier go down in systems with lots of ratting will increase the cost of security for ratters. Bounty hunters won’t be going there for bounties, because they can see that the multiplier is very low there. So ratting will becoming safer, not costlier.

And having the multiplier go up in systems with lots of combat will increase the number of Bounty hunters there. In other words, you’ll end up with a few “meat grinder” systems and the rest of sovereign space will be ignored by bounty hunters (because of low multipliers). This will do nothing to make large alliance use more of their space. On the contrary, they can more readily control the portions of their space where enemies are likely to appear simply by having high-bounty pilots offer combat where the alliance wants it to happen.

To my view, everything that is stated as a goal is defeated by this change to the bounty system. If you want higher payouts of bounties to increase combat, just have Concord offer matching payouts. That is, have Concord match current payout amounts by paying an additional amount equal to the product of (security rating of system - security status of pilot/ 10 + number of kills in the system in the last 24 hours/1000). So bounties for pilots with lower security status pay more and bounties in highsec pay more, and places with lots of combat pay more but in a less predictable way.

For example, Jita has 1.0. Kill a pilot with security status of 5.0 there, on a day with 500 kills in the last 24 hours. Concord pays bonus bounty of (1-5/10+500/1000) = 1 x the bounty payout.

Or, as is more likely when you are talking CODE mining ganking or freight ganking in high sec, You might have a pilot with security status of -1 killed in a 1.0 system with 300 kills, so bonus would be (1 - (-1)/10+300/1000) = 1.4 x the bounty payout. Hence, the fighting in high sec would shift to greater bounty hunting rather than being almost exclusively ganks of freighters and miners. And given that the bounty system caps pay based on the value of the ship destroyed, bounty hunting in high sec is currently pointless - so this would return some of that dynamic to high sec.

Is this actually the goal that CCP is attempting to accomplish?

5% less isk at max (kidding)

Kill bunch of corvets or cheap frigs and here we go :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Your anecdotal experience is what I’m talking about - you didn’t move to null because it was a way to make the most isk per hour. You moved there for PvP. The income stream was secondary to the move there, just something that you did because you happened to be in the space.

I don’t think this is going to change that dynamic. Big groups like Karmafleet won’t likely be impacted as much as others that don’t have large numbers of folks willing to fight and defend their space (and, of course, attract hunters). The folks hit hardest by this will be renters, from what I’ve seen.

All of these nerfs, though, are making it all much harder for anybody to catch up to what we were able to do in the 16-18 time period. I think that’s what CCP wants now.

you can not spread out because of true sec number. look at dotlan and check, where the most npc/24 is. it’s most the deadend(safety) and -0.9 (more combat sites) systems. higher systems does not have such much combat sites at all.

if you want to see players spreaded, remove truesec dependence please, so all systems have same counts of combat sites.

Shouldn’t assume so much Mr. Trump

haha

this deployment will be a disaster.

Alright, so when is the almost predictable nerf to high sec missions coming in CCPs never ending quest to fulfill the maxim “All shall PvP”

Here’s a thought. Stop promoting this game as having a PVE aspect. Really, look at your promo material. Stop expressing to new players that they can be all things in eve, while continuing to nerf back every aspect of PVE you put in the game.

Their eternal excuse is "well we do say it’s pvp focused " sad that they resort to such basic and nonsensical arguments to justify illogical changes to the game that are detrimental to new player retention.
