Connection Lost Frustration

Your problem is exactly the same as mine . No problems at all till today. Just lost 300mill raven trying to run 1 of there new sites. They seem to add stuff all the time, yet don’t fix the problems the game already has.
Ive tried updating graphics, sound … everything still cant play.

I have just had this issue start for me in the last 12 hours, driving me nuts. drop about every 30 mins

Likewise for the last 24 hrs or so, every 20-30 mins while playing lost connection.

24 Hours of the same for me. No idea on whats happening? Im in Australia using Optus, not sure if we can establish a common thread here. I dont believe its local issue, my connectivity to my ISP is fine and no other games are affected.

Edit: Also tried to upgrade an account to Omega and the credit card transaction locked halfway through, now I cant progress it, says I have already purchased, but my card has not been charged.

Any other threads on this? abit frustrating for the last few days with constant disconnects.
Reconnect right away…and it timed out again.
3rd time okay…for a short 10-15 mins then disconnects again.

Have escalated with optus. Still cant make purchases through the online store and still getting multiple random disconnects. Have cleared caches, tried both existing and new characters. no changes.

With Optus like yourself and @Bill_Oddiee and pretty much the same issues, will get onto them as well to possibly help look into it.

I have had those disconnects only occasionally. I could not pinpoint it to any of my systems, I use both desktops and laptops of different generations and both Windows 10 and Linux. The thing I noticed is that once I had 2/4 EVE clients on my windows PC disconnect and 1 EVE client d/c on a Linux PC while the others merily kept going. I asked both CCP and my ISP and they checked for errors that day and there were none on either sides, my firewall did not report any issues too. But I can’t ask cloudflare/amazonaws and other “digital fast-food” providers to check what happened as I think the issue lies there. It’s CCP that should log disconnects and see if it’s significant enough to check where the issue lies as its outside the possibilities of the customer. Or maybe I’m just having too many accounts online ? :wink: :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m now keeping Loglite active (EVE Launcher -> “E” -> Start Loglite.

Honestly creating tickets really not helpful on solve this issue.

I am too getting this. I will randomly disconnect on a few but not all accounts.

Really frustrating.

I’m getting this as well. Some days it happens every 15 minutes, other days not at all. When two-boxing both my clients disconnect at the same time, and it is not my internet going out… I’m always able to log back in IMMEDIATELY. Like others, I’m afraid to do anything in truly dangerous space lest I lose an expensive ship to a BS disconnect.

No correlation to graphics settings, other programs running, anything like that. Also happens when I am not two boxing.

I have some kind of experience where one day it will be fine and the next day it will be full of disconnects. Xfinity + Mac here, Saturday was great, Sunday full of disconnects.

So… any luck as to solving this issue which is clearly CPP related?

I’ve gotten disconnected 4 times in the past hour. CCP, if it isn’t obvious by now, this is you.

Yea they totally fixed it for me! I can’t remember the last time I got disconnected, except that one time my actual internet died.

I have noticed over the last 2 weeks, repeated disconnects happen on Sunday. Disconnects left and right can barely log in on Sundays. Every other day of the week is okay…

I also notice it happens often whenever I try to move something around between hangars or when I try to board a ship.

Since the beginning of the week, I have to deal with repetitive disconnect also… It is very frustrating and I get tired of this.
