I don’t mind the difficulty, challenge or even the theft. The loot drops from the Drifter cruiser are just so pathetic that no one even wants to steal them - let alone run the sites. The only PvP action I saw was a failed gank attempt. In fairness, I think dropping festival launchers and fireworks in every wreck is a tad much…

Pretty much this. Most people fly with Gilas because it was an obvious no brainer choice so far. Now it comes to adapting to changing environment and people aren’t flexible enough …

More tinfoil hattery. Check your standings sheet. You will see your actual drifter standings are unchanged. Only the specific drifter npc standings are taking a hit.

This is 100% the problem with eve atm drone ship supremacy. Boring when you only need 1 ship to run all content with no strategy needed, so I welcome harder content that people can’t finish in that one ship.
Wouldn’t it be funny if the event rebalance involved npc smartbombs?

You cant kill the cruiser solo with a myrm (I’ve tried), for me reshipping to kill the site after farming it until I got bored or ran out of ammo was the only option other than abandoning it
The problem with group content atm is you need 10-25 people WAY to much for 90% of corps in this game to do, If CCP want’s to make group content then it needs to be as little as 2/3 people, with a chance to solo with super bling.
Also if it is group content it need’s to be super rewarding, 20mil-50mil in 30 min for 3 people is ridiculously a waste of time lol.
As a hint: the only people I’v seen running incursions in low sec beside the occasional proper group is bot’s all changing their ship name exactly the same time every few seconds to the exact same thing (placid region).

Well, I just tried this mirmidon with medium drones, but Gila seems to be the more fiting choice, it can deal with cruiser as much as with smalled drone, without any tracking enhancers or anythin beside 3 drone damage amplifiers and mostruous passive shield tank with invulnerability field, just one. 
Its as easy as leving it afk and returning after site is completed. I used valkyrie II.
