i am honestly inetersted in the oppinions of other players to this.
in general i think, most people that play eve like the pew pew.
but there seems to be a subspecies of capsuleers, that wants to avoid it at all cost.
and i am interested in their way of thinking. because i just don’t understand it. shooting stuff is fun
well I think that capsuler like me trutfully just don’t want all our hard work to be destroyed like take my most recent death I lost gases I spent hours gathering to build a ortuhs and finlly make enough money to plex my acount so in truth I don’t want to completly aviod pvp in fact I think I would find it fun but I would not find fund waiting by gates and killing someone who can’t defend their sevls just because their moving through low
you have your answer and if youre not satisfied with it its not my fault just like it not my fault that they had better ships then me or that I can’t afford omgea
The Democratic People’s Corporation of Deadly Viper Kitten Mitten Sewing Company denies all accusations of duplicity intended to disrupt the peace and harmony of the community. Under the lawful authority of its dutiful supreme leadership, forum imperialist aggressors are sternly reminded that just as the sky is blue, all hostile conduct and unwelcome defamatory adventurism will be surely and definitely met with righteous action and full extent of the undying revolutionary spirit of the people.
no I have morals aginst attacking miners and poeple who are just miding thier own busness the only people who I would kill are those who are gankers or trolls
you could try finding me in the forge of sinq laqin mining gas cllouds
ps youre are not the first person who has wanted to shoot me speficlly matter a fact I once pissed of a pvp allince and it ended with me getting kicked froma corp but that not a story for today
Do you mean the Venture that had no tank whatever, or the Miasmos that had absolutely no fittings at all, let alone any tank, while you carried 195m ISK worth of ore ? And I notice most of your prior losses had no fittings at all.
I mean…you don’t think your penchant for flying totally unfitted ships might have something to do with you losing them ?
you didn’t adequately plan your attack and didn’t bring enough DPS to get the job done.
that’s a failgank.
that you’ve done it more than once is what makes it hilarious.
losing Thrashers to station and gate guns while popping empty pods is also evidence of further failure. I’m assuming there was some facwar or wardec mechanics at play rather than a simple gank. You should be able to get out before the station guns nail you if you plan your attacks correctly.
It’s also hilarious that someone who has so obviously enjoyed hisec ganking would make a thread about the need for a consensual pvp mechanic.
everything about the Nasty Shrimp persona screams “ALT”.
I have to side with the gankers. The point of lowsec or null is that every encounter has the opportunity to become a violent encounter. Highsec is a bit tricky. On one hand, it is supposed to be relatively safe. It’s supposed to have some degree of protection from hostile players, but the issue is that ganking isn’t breaking any rules. I personally don’t view killing in low or null as ganking, since the game does actually warn you before entering before entering, but the game doesn’t warn you on undock in hs. My point is that by removing unconsensual PvP, you’re removing the point of lowsec and null. And even if this proposed feature will just affect highsec, you might as well remove the ability to disable safety.
