I think that would destroy the reason why I started playing EvE in the first place.
Why are you trying to destroy the thing that made EvE special when practically every other MMO that has PVP only has consensual PVP?

as soon as you “opt out pvp” then youre not able to generate ISK in any form ! all of your loot will have a flag “Opt Out Loot not able to Sell” ( this includes your mining loot ( ice / ore ) ! loot from wrecks ! all mission item rewards ! all loot drops from DeD and hacking sites ! )

you accept that you accept PvP as soon as you undock !
exactly this is nothing that eve needs ! we all need less saftey and not more ! lern to play and then you (almost) never get killd if you dont want it !

On a non-troll direction, I would like a controlled PvP environment where newer players, such as myself, can practice actual PvP combat mechanics without getting scrapped.
Some kind of 1v1/5v5 arena thing.
just pack a frigate or destroyer and go to a lowsec sytem with a lot of pvp kills on zkill.
you will learn how to pick fights and you will be ambushed… but that is the game.
aometimes you win, sometimes you lose
we already had an arena ! CCP decide its ■■■■ and they killed this kind of PvP !
if you want to train your pvp skills then take a ship and look for any targets ! you will lern what happen if you die or win !
A controlled 1v1 arena is vastly different to jumping into a 1v5 low sec Praxis gate camp.
but THIS is the reality ! just lern the things you can find in this game and not how you would like them !

We’re having fun. Why are you not having fun ?! It’s a sandbox, you make it fun. And New Eden is supposed to be dangerous and gloomy - says CCP ! They know, they made the bloody game.
On the other hand, having 3 highly active threads from hisec eve wannabe’s about pvp/ganking/consent, is that a “lucky” coincidence or just a coordinated push ? Loud, wrong and destructive in more than one way.
What makes you think your thread is special, let alone necessary ? Why not simply make your feelings known in one of a vast number of similar threads on the same subject ? Why don’t you play nice on the forums, and not make your own thread about how you don’t accept the game for what it is and is meant to be ?
