No, I figure your cheap 1.9m ISK Catalysts will have less DPS and less shield than my 10m ISK ones. If I was gonna whore on kills Iād just use some long range missile ship and grab 2% of the kill.

Most have probably been playing EVE for years and a ganker finally got them.
Anyone playing in high-sec is a newbie, and newbies shouldnāt be ganked, therefore CCP needs to remove ganking from EVE.

This shows that you donāt really understand the mechanics involved. If youāre serious about hunting gankers you need to familiarise yourself with the process.
My advice would be to fit a firework launcher on a Catalyst and go āhuntingā Ventures. Remain stationery for a maximum of say 10 seconds to simulate being a -10 criminal being chased by the NPC law enforcement. Practice bookmarking a landing spot within blaster range, and have at it.
Alternatively, you could go off half-cocked and get lucky. Just make sure you record your attempts for training purposes.
My thoughts on why a gank would fail with video detail.
Many Cats chatter while watching their prey as seen in this video with meaning referring to the inner excitement about catching their prey.
Now within New Eden we also have cats in the form of Catalyst so in this case for example their prey could be a solo retriever out on a belt and perhaps one reason why a failed gank could take place is that the ganker became too excited before reaching the desired distance and shot too soon. Resulting in CCord arriving too soon to clear up the mess.
