CSM 19 Candidates

Why is there 3 candidates with no forum post at all ?
And why is a 1 sentence forum post good enough to even become a candidate ?

no forum posts might just mean they are posting on other accounts…
remember we are all alts of alts :stuck_out_tongue:

You got my vote

Me? I might run …some day for a CSM seat

Its a requirement to run as main account and to make a forum post

But is it all inclusive? Making forum posts on your main account? If you can prove to CCP you posted on the other character on the same account, which is actually unnecessary coz they just know it already, then what?

They shouldn’t be. CCP made it clear that the requirements to run include a forum post that answers specific questions they asked. If folks don’t do at least the minimum expectations that CCP asks for in the process to certify candidates, they should be removed.

This isn’t that hard.

Posting with alts is not a thing in CSM elections (for the candidates ofc)
And not making candidate posts should not be a thing either :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

“Make wormholes great again” Might be all @steven_mardis cares about But as a CSM19 Candidate post its just horribly bad

And @Colby_Bosh_tet , @SeriesPro and @Storm_Delay Just magically appeared with CCPs Candidate announcement Without even a minimum of effort

Like Brisc said “This isn’t that hard” :bangbang:

Hey are you going to be running again?

Not this year. I’ve told Asher I’ll run if he needs me to, but he didn’t this year.

Hey, I can only speak to my own case, but I applied to run late in the application period and there was some difficulty on CCP’s end getting my application approved due to database issues that no one seems quite able to explain.

I had applied to run with this account, Bill Dingha Cynabal, which is currently my main account and certainly my best known identity. But, in the end, I was forced to run as Machagon, my previous main.

I didn’t know which way the chips had fallen on my candidacy until just an hour or so before the official announcement of candidates was made. And the campaign rules state that you shouldn’t make an announcement post in the forums until your candidacy has been confirmed.

I can’t speak to anyone else, but that’s why my own campaign post didn’t go up until shortly after the announcement.

FINALLY

I no longer have the CSM tag and Mike A does.
