As a HS nominee, where do you stand on PVE missions from agents in HS? The last time these were updated were in 2014 which were burner missions in lvl4s.
I can early between 600-800m p/h in Abyssalls that take me out of the game away from people where I have zero risk (since the spawns are gameified now), but if I do a lvl 4 mission I can easily loose ships to other players either in mission or travel and only earn 200m p/h, the risk versus reward for these are off.
What would your opinion be on putting a handful of lvl 5 missions in HS that only Marauders can access which are harder but give more reward. Gankers will still have their fill as it will be easy to find mission runners but the rewards may make them worth the risk? Current lvl5’s would then just be lvl6’s.
That’s true, we had no major changes to mission mechanics. I like that we get visual overhauls and now increased LP + ISK rewards for Mining Agents to make them almost worth your time.
I share the same opinion about L5’s in HS. Some should be added to HS but I would not make them exclusive to Marauders. Rather have them open the option to run them as a group in smaller ships (3-5 Players) with Ewar & Logi NPCs to make it difficult to multibox and bot. With the addition of acceleration gates so you see incoming gankers or scouts and can react to it.
I would keep most L5’s to lowsec and instead of just changing the levels of missions why don’t just add new L4 Mission types, that have the same functions as burners, so you can decline them without standing loss, and you don’t generate these ganking hotspots as gankers now have to actually move around to find those instead of just camping that system with the L5 Agent and generating more risk than there is reward.
