Hola soy Ntrosell2 y aspiro a ser el primer hispano en el programa CSM.
My EVE Story:
I started EVE like many others: lost, somewhat confused, not fully understanding the mechanics, but with one thing clear: I wanted to explore every system of this universe. I wasn’t one of those who stuck with a directionless starting system: I explored, tried industries, trade, PvP, lots of PVE haha, but what really left its mark on me was seeing how a good guide and an open community could change a new pilot’s experience.
When I started, there wasn’t a “Spanish Help” channel; there was a channel called “Español” where you could meet pilots of all kinds and they would help you on your journey through New Eden.
I started in 2020 in HS, doing missions together with the ships I could use at the time. Over time, but very cautiously, my group and I decided to join Low, where we met the guys from RekingCrew. I joined the -SAS- alliance, where I eventually became CEO, following the teachings of Thadeus Drake’s Drop. It was a good time.
I always liked creating community and places where Hispanics, or anyone who wanted to collaborate, felt welcome, and that was the policy of SAS while I was in charge.
Several things happened, and from -SAS-, I went north with WE FORM BL0B. Then I went to Goons, and that’s when I decided I wanted to change something.
From there, I learned a lot from the guys from BIGAB and ROTE in Low, while maintaining some alts with friends in WH.
That’s when I entered wormholes. With old and new friends, I decided to start 100% in this area, which everyone considered “the most difficult of all,” and with good reason. They’re other leagues. With time and the trust of my teammates, we founded the “Death Legion of Capybaras” alliance, a small but very active WH alliance always seeking to grow and establish a recognized “name.” Our group is filled with many Hispanics and English people eager to do more.
Areas of Expertise
New Pilots: I’ve worked helping rookies not only understand the game, but also enjoy it. I firmly believe that EVE’s learning curve shouldn’t be a barrier, but rather an opportunity to engage more players by offering better support.
Wormholes: I’m familiar with their dynamics and believe this space needs more visibility and incentives. Wormholes are one of the most unique environments in EVE, but also the most overlooked in many CCP decisions.
Player Inclusion: EVE is a sandbox for everyone, not just a select few. Small-scale pilots, solo pilots, new players, or those who don’t have time for large fleets also deserve representation.
Why am I running for CSM 20?
Because I believe the voices of players just starting out and those who choose less massive playstyles should be present at the discussion table with CCP. EVE shouldn’t just be a game for large coalitions: its strength lies in the diversity of experiences.
There are some really cool mechanics that give each area of the game its identity. In Low, there’s Factional, and that’s where you first experience a capital city and the drop you can get if you misuse it, haha. In Null, there are many communities and mechanics: Sovereignties, Skyhubs, you learn what a “capital umbrella” is. It’s where you truly experience the “politics” of the game, and where the “weight” of the market is truly generated. For the bravest, there’s Pochven, Standing mechanics with Triglavians, good ISK, and amazing fights every day.
(Not all of these mechanics are unique to those levels of play, but they’re where they “shine the most” or where each one is identified.)
And this is where we get to Wormholes:
If you ask someone “what to expect from this place,” they’ll always tell you the same thing:
There’s no local chat, there are no Gates, and you have to scan the WHs.
I want to take a step further to generate new mechanics in WH, like something a little bigger when it comes to making Planetari Idustri, that can contribute to broader mechanics in the game, where you can “conquer planets” to place “different structures” in your WH and have more control over it, where your base, your home, has more prominence than just a structure in the center of the wormhole.
Etc. and other crazy ideas that I’d like to put on the table. There were some great improvements that helped newcomers, like information when you close a WH. Improvements that come with the game’s maps, improvements to the corporation, but I’d like to develop all of that a little more and ensure that a newcomer’s path doesn’t “depend on luck” but rather give them more solid tools to determine their path.
Something I love about all the games I’ve played is the lore. EvE online has beautiful lore, and many don’t know about it. Giving those stories prominence in the universe, not just those created by players, but also the one on which EvE online is based, a universe developed by players but with a beautiful foundation. Jove, Sleepers, Amarr, I want to learn more about it and take steps in the universe with them.
What can you expect from me?
-
Actively represent new pilots, solo pilots, and wormhole communities.
-
Push for more tools that make rookie life less frustrating and more exciting.
-
Promote the inclusion of different types of players in the future of EVE.
-
Actively listen to the everyday player, not just the big alliances.
-
Promote new mechanics and activities that allow you to mix up your EvE life.
I have experience building community. My candidacy isn’t just to be part of the CSM, it’s to ensure that all pilots, no matter where they live or what playstyle they choose, have a voice in the direction of EVE.
