Dear Elon, please buy this game and open up the stations and planets

I would like to see a Cyberpunk thing in the stations and the planets with mechs and basebuilding… If you have played Armored Core, then you know that the mechanics perfectly fit with this game… I would love to see this game expanded for different types of gameplay… Hope whoever buys it has vision to expand upon this great game…

@Shaigh Let’s see if he can get to Mars first before we entrust him with the most complicated game known to man.
So far, Starship hasn’t even gone to orbit so we have some time.
If he gets a hold of EVE he’ll probably blow it up!

I’d rather be fingered in the dick by king kong than have musk anywhere near this and you need to gtfo for even considering it god damn

the Vulture…

Musk? Why? So he can dismantle it and flush it down the toilet faster than all the other alternatives combined? Terrible suggestion. At least with other potential options EVE still has a chance of survival.

Hello Games.
The idea here is they get a monopoly on the space games.

Seriously anyone huge buying this game would do so to shut it down. Then they control the rights to anyone wanting to create or recreate Eve Online. Buy out to shut down removes market competition, removes the loss of revenues after the initial cost of purchase, and they can cherry pick the talent from CCP staff.

I know from being in corporate setting, they do this with failing production plants. For instance, you have a unionized production plant losing money. You sell off the building and move the jobs to a non union ( slave wages ) plant in a 3rd world country. Employees are told they can apply to move to the new site, but they will suffer wage loss and moving costs.

Musk has no interest in gaming and recent events has his companies in the red. Microsoft has no interest in this type of game, after buying WoW, the vast majority of their games are web based poker, bingo, and other table top games. The only reason for Hello Games to buy it, would be to either shut it down or run it themselves. Their company stock is up and in the green. With revenues approaching 55 million USD, they could be a possible candidate.

I know the OP started this as a joke thread, but I wanted to inject some real world thoughts here.

What a bummer.

Half the ship names are the same too…Hurricane, Harbinger, Cyclone, etc…

To be fair these are all generic names that could apply to anything and as such, cannot be copyrighted or trade marked.

thanks

 :winking_face_with_tongue: It will be a subsidiary to trump university coding curriculum or as it is better known as how to play pong and pacman as a professional…

…this is why CCP naming some ships after Icelandic stuff like “Svipul” is one of the coolest features of the game.

Well, this, and having a system called Cat.
