Changed how the Notify message appears in client. We have added a subtle entry animation and bumped up the opacity of the background a bit. We hope this will make the message a little more obvious when it occurs.
This sounds great, but when i"m boosting, this means I get 4 competing pop-ups every minute… please give us an option to turn it off, it’s driving me nuts…
The kill drones challenge probably should have a cooldown of a few hours, but I wanted to see how it affects things when we leave it off.
We are finalizing a design to replace the reward system. The current reward system is ill-equipped to handle our veteran players’ level of commitment to EVE without seeming overwhelming to new players. That’s been known since the beginning, but I pick my battles and the live event reward system is on the horizon now.
Is that a politically correct way of saying, “you guys are insane”
First of all, great job !!! Everything is more beautifull (I am specially sensitiv about colors) but please, really, please, I almost was trapped when i went trough statics of my statics… Bob may not be happy, because wormholes eol (reaching his end of his life) don’t make any vibration like previously, we can’t see any visual difference. We need it back !!!

The new wormhole effect is cool ish.
But I can no longer just look at a wormhole and tell if it is EOL or not.
This is not really a problem when scanning but when using a hole it was a easy way to tell when it goes EOL so now every one has to show info on it when they go through in a hope we get an accurate indication of when it’s going to close rather than us just showing when it goes EOL.

i am a New Eden resident for soon 4 years . Once you announced that you want to make skillpoints tradeable , i said : " That could be the only reason i stop plaieng this game " . Now the Extractors and Injectors are part of the game and im still here . They surely destroyed the whole PLEX marked , so PLEX is not payable anymore for a casual player … but ok you seem to be blind on that eye . Then you accounced Alpha-Omega-System and new Moonmining ! Awesome stuff but why the hell do you buff Alphas so much ? They will be able to make more skillpoints a day than a Omega (if i have right informations) and they will be able to fly most Doctrineships of most big alliances . CCP you are loosing your integrity ! You are changing EVERYTHING that made EVE what it is ! EVE was a unique game once , where you were part of the best community of all existing online games and where you needed to fight for everything you wanted to have . It becomes easier and easier to be part of this community . Status of the unique game dissolves patch after patch ! Is it because you see shitty games like League of Legends or World of Tanks making by far more isk/month than you CCP ? Sorry , i know this question is not kind of me but thats the only answer we found . If i say we , i mean the people i met and i play with for years . They are all pissed as well and leaving 1 by 1 .
Where is the point ? Do you want us , the mainbase of EVE , the veterans , the people who pay and love this game , to leave this game and free the systems for your Free To Play community ?! In clear words : Do you want to replace your loyal community with a f2p community ? I dont get it !!

Looking forward to what you are coming up with … but one request, please don’t hand out any player manufacturable items like fitted ships in future (outside of NPE). Even if in the small quantities it may be under control, it still breaks the sandbox. Just don’t do that. New Eden was able to survive without that for 14 years.
The player driven market is an asset you should not throw away light-heartedly. Teach new players how to deal with it instead of shielding them further and further.

@CCP_Dragon, I was doing a Nest site today in HS and saw two instances of the “Tertius” loot NPC wave. (The second one wreck was empty 
) - was expecting a “Secundas” wave. Bug, or part of intended random chance?
Note for future: loot drops drive “player interaction” - every loot-possible wreck should have something in it that needs investigating. Please choose some default low value item, if RNG says “sorry, nothing good this time.”
i have alreadi moved 30 jumps to a remote system. there is still lots of competition.
what makes it so bad is that site stays on overview until last dron e is killed so anytime someone can warp in and sniper the overmind drone.
also, the overmind wrecks are sometimes empty??? kinda lame when you get no reward at all

Keep in mind, that many times items are placed “too cheap” on market just to get a sale at all.
This happens the MOST when looking for skill books, due to accidental duplicate purchases but here is an example more related to your post…
Example – This reminds me of the countless times people have said how it is cheaper to buy the ship than it is to buy the minerals to build the ship. In this instance, those people don’t know about the reprocessing rates, the implants, the skills, the structure bonuses, BP ME rates, and of course the taxes/fees from using NPC stations, versus POSes, new structures, and so on.
There are so MANY instances where market postings for things like Navy drones or Stratios ships are far cheaper than they should be when you look at the LP and ISK needed.

The wave that shows up second is somewhat random chance.

Spawn rates are not too bad, I remember worse. Sometimes (recommendation) they come to you; let others do the roaming. If you’re now alone in a dead-end because the last site was just completed, stay there for a while. Sites spawn randomly as they are completed elsewhere.
I can file a bug report with screenshot if it would help; the only proof is that the “empty” Tertius wreck in the 2nd wave, was a brighter shade of white (I did not open it, because it was empty.)
I have seen several empty Overmind wrecks by now, as well as 1 site that had 2 bosses but both were empty.
This is not happening. I have had a number of boss wrecks that were empty.
