[December] UPDATED: Jump Fuel and Jump Fatigue Cap changes

You managed to kill several carriers whose pilots either weren’t paying attention to intel or who were dumb. Or you used AWOX characters.

And I didn’t say carriers can AFK. I said they need to be AFK or dumb to get caught by a gang that isn’t using AWOX characters.

You seem to get it

they are not even good for that both the dreads and FAX get much better cargo holds than carriers lol

carriers are literally only good for ratting and ganks that you could have pulled off in better ships anyway.

actually even ratting they have fallen out as they can’t afk anymore and you can make isk easier with 3 VNI running 3 sites while you watch netflix

They hardly even qualify for suitcases anymore. With half the jump range and the fatigue mechanics, as well as double the cost for fuel, its more effective to tear down and repackage ships for a jump freighter.

You don´t see the way it will affect the GSF? Who are the biggest exporters in the game you think? The problem with Delve is multifaceted and needs to be handled in several ways. Because the monthly trillions isn´t good for the game. It is gamebreaking.

And I already know your follow up arguments so don´t bother.

Actually, we dont export anything…

Lol, I’m a professional dev and I’ve deployed several full systems in the time it has taken CCP to start to nerf citadels. Most other MMOs can put out new content in two years but that’s the amount of time it takes CCP to fix the flaws in the old content (which wasn’t even good content in the first place).

No but it is part of a series of compounding issues that makes me want to unsub the five capital accounts I currently have (BTW CCP they all expire Dec/Jan).

As I’ve actually had experience helping with alliance level capital logistics under the old fuel use system I can easily imagine how much more annoying it is going to be now to actually deploy an alliance capital group. Everyone loved the doubled fuel bay because suddenly there wasn’t much worry of people being out of fuel after a few mids and a combat drop.

You beat me to it

@Bulky_Tree

You beat me to it lol

As we don’t have already a ton of alts, which is cancer for this game , but CCP wanted it this way encouraging people to make more and more alts, because they failed to get new blood into the game and make them stick around…

So jumps use more fuel, but the positive is the ice miners make more isk… that about sum it up?

So if you are not in a mega alliance that has logistics branches, you (CCP) would prefer that we stay out of the Jump business? How about increasing the fuel bays even further to at least accommodate the greater amounts of topes needed to jump? and yes INCLUDE Black ops as that’s primarily what I am talking about.

you do know they already increased the fuel bays to compensate for this right?

You know that is net export? Meaning the export is weighted by imports. That doesn´t mean we don´t export, just means we import more.

Hey bulky tree, can I have your capital stuff so I can export ice out of delve?

also both the import and export require fuel so i don’t see why you guys are arguing what direction the goods are going

ahah I can’t read…

this one is better.

So yeah, we export, my bad

This change is the worst way to change the way lower ice need that came with Lifeblood. What about the PI products? Almost 80% of PI market value went into fuel blocks, now all that part of industry is rapidly going the way of the dodo if prices continue to fall this fast.
Best way to fix the refineries update and pos removal is to increase fuel block needed for reactions.

Hush you, it was funnier the other way

All of these adorable comments about Delve, and not a single thought spared to trying to do it for themselves.

It’s people pointing out that all these changes do is punish those who aren’t part of a mega-coalition. If that’s the case let’s just remove jump fatigue and go back to two groups owning all of null as that is effectively what “local production” will achieve. At leas then we might get a massive titan brawl occasionally.
