Are you trying to gaslight him into thinking EVE is a PvP everywhere game or something?
I was playing 7 Days to Die.
I had a shotgun and went to the trader. I heard someone outside and they came running inside. I shot them. Their friend come in after them and tried to shoot an arrow. I killed them as well. I didn’t know anything about them. All I knew is that it was a PvP game, and there was a target. I won, they lost. Then they cried and cried, “All you do is camp the safe zone in order to harass and bully us poor new players.”
These people whine and complain in every game they play.
This is the correct solution for anyone not able to cope with the mechanics of the EVE sandbox. There are other MMOs and games that will surely match your gamestyle better.
Why are you out to make all games the same? What fun should it be if all games would have the same mechanics?
I have only seen threads by Bakster Kane wanting to change all mechanics you come across. Why? Why are you not playing another game? To me it seems you are more active in the forums than involved in actual gameplay?
So, high sec is meant to be misleading?
Players are the ones spreading the misinformation that high sec is safe. CCP has always said that all space is dangerous.
Please show me where CCP has written down and defined what High Sec is and then we can discuss the interpretation thereof that might have lead to your misunderstanding?
Unclear rules are part of the problem.
I guess you searched and could not find it? Hint: CCP never coined the term high sec. They put the security levels to the sandbox and let the players find out the mechanics. The players then went ahead and created the term “high sec”.
CCP defined the mechanics and they tell “no space is to be considered absolutely safe”. So it is not CCPs fault for the player given names. However, since these names are so commonly used, even CCP got to use them at some point. There are videos introducing the differences in the security level ranges. But even when they use the terms there, the first sentence before they use it is: “no space is to be considered absolutely safe”.
What is your point?
He’s taking his time to explain something to you, something you said is ‘unclear’ to you.
Your reaction is, besides ignorant, rude.
What is his point?
The point is that CCP has been clear, no where is safe, it’s dangerous everywhere.
Green and blue dots misrepresent dangerous systems.
They are just colors, and only represent number values. Green and blue can very much, and often does mean venomous.
Pot, meet Kettle
Apparently…
I don’t understand why people join a PvP game and demand it stop being a PvP game.
To be fair, you don’t seem to understand much.
