Korea, midnight, Pearl Abyss sever room. A Space game known as EVE Online, which has been attracting enthusiasts since 2003, shuts down as servers are disconnected. Frantic gamers find out that Pearl Abyss has shut down the game as no longer being profitable.
The world needs to know what caused the shut down, by the worlds largest game developers, of the worlds first space MMORPG 3d game, due to losses.
Was it a coincidence? Was it bad management toward the player base from Pearl Abyss? Or was it Venture Capitalists greed?

SWOTOR or WAR where disasters. TESO was at the release. EVE dying would be a tragedy, like the thing with Eternal Crusade or RIFT.
Interesting enough I have always wondered why do folks do not just win the gank war by sheer numbers, in other words out produce the gankers, I mean most gankers are looking for opportunities and don’t necessarily repeatedly hunt the same targets because they are just moving about looking for targets of chance.
While mining is one way to get resources buying them leaves more time for fun, mission here, buy or sell, hacking, etc, so depending on how much risk you feel is it better to go cheap or buy big single ship, I’d rather (if I could mine), buy 100 ventures then buy a single retriever, procurer, covetor, because chances are they can’t get all you’re ventures before you could produce more, but if you put all your turnups in a single basket well we all know how much people love turnups.

There is one guy with a fleet of Retrievers which does exactly that. I have to wait 15min after each gank, he has a stack of new Retrievers and just reships and is back within a minute or so. He just completely ISK-tanks me.
There are multiple working tactics against suicide ganking. The easiest one is to just use a Skiff which makes you almost invincible without even fitting it correctly. The people who cry about it are usually not interested in that as they think even choosing the right ship is too much to ask let alone actually coming up with some creative tactic.

From somebody who pretty much lives in mining-heaven. That mines most of the ore in game. And has got a gankingroup. Well… IF we would care, you can´t win that one. And there are other alliances too who can do that. Its just not efficent. If you get ganked…laugh about it and proceed.
How did this turn into a ganking thread? LOL. Maybe we should get back in topic and cry about the BDO guys

the mutagens do seem to be EVE’s test loot crate I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of that kind of RNG gambling feature pop up.
What I’m more concerned about is the half-assed way it was implemented rather than the RNG itself. The modules are hard to trade and don’t even properly show in kill mails. It really looks like a feature someone requested and they had to implement at the last moment doing whatever they could to just ship it.

Mutaplasmid is more like enchanting tbh. Just because it’s random doesn’t mean it’s a loot crate. You don’t know what you’re going to get from a loot crate.

The fear I always had with mutaplasmids is that it is the perfect opportunity to introduce a probability altering drug or whatever to the cash shop
That BRAVE guy doesn’t get the difference between “Buying PLEX and selling for ISK to get a Titan or Skill Injectors” and “Actually buying Skill Injectors or Titans that no one had to build prior to the sale for RL money”. That’s a big difference and just goes to show how clueless most people are. Dangerously clueless. CCP is not ahead of PA and others at farming whales, they are way behind and there is lots and lots of potential that people like this BRAVE guy just don’t want to see.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say. If you’re suggesting pay to win is a good thing, then I’m left to wonder how much PA is paying you.

I am not saying this at all. PA’s record with their games is saying it, and people like this BRAVE guy downplay it.
