Nah, there’s plenty of people who’d go for the ears (or a tail). And a WiS-style virtual presence for chat channels would be a perfectly good application of it. After all, capsuleers exist as infomorphs in a virtually-represented universe whenever they’re in the pod. Everything’s perceived through ship sensors. No reason they can’t plug in to socialize, too.

is the thing about colors true? i get the rest of it is an april fools joke but can we seriously get rid of the skins and actually add real player customization to ships where you can do your own colors.
the skin system sucks and microtransactions should never be part of player customization. customization is a base feature of rpgs.
