I was affected by this a lot, but i might have been on break for a month with two account around march, so I might not get any compensation which is very unfair!

When are those 500k of SP coming? Should be worth even more now given the issues we are still having

Just for reference, guys, the initial March/April chat system issues were promised SP by like May or June but it didn’t come till August. So… it can take months before they issue it, so just be patient till then.

Thank you, CCP Chimichanga and your team very much for fixing that issue so swiftly. It’s so much better now to moderate public channels without kicking your communities all the time. :heart:

Chat was broken again last night. When you will be reverting to the old system ? You are certainly unable to fix the persistent chat issue or shall we expect free SP again ?

Thanks CCP.

No question the chat is improving. No Jita outages. No flakey channel toggling between systems when traveling. No loss of connection to chat server. Though I did have one account experience chat failure yesterday it was only 15 minutes and it’s a rare thing now. The fixes are working and a working system is what counts. Good job and keep going.

Oh and thx for the skills.

are you a character from the future, from what date has CCP fixed the chat and given the SP? let me know so i can ut that future date in my calender.

I only received this skill points on 2 out of 4 accounts.
Is it e-mail based?
If not what can we do to get them?

supposed to be on the highest SP character on an account, if that account was Omega on a certain date, i cannot recall that date.

I only had one account out of the two, that I had Omega status on the chosen date, actually get skillpoints. The one which is also my main account and has been active and paid for continuously since February 2008 did not receive any skillpoints that I can find. Is this intended, or was this a mistake?

not exactly happy, 3 characters were subbed during that time period, however since then i’ve had 9 accounts online and living with the chat mess. But because they weren’t subbed on date X a year ago they get screwed out of compensation. This was not a well thought out solution.

I could see pro-rating things. If you were subbed the whole time you get the full 500k, but for the accounts subbed in may, june, july etc but were AND ARE STILL DEALING WITH, the STILL BROKEN chat system, as seen yesterday while toodling around Imensea with multiple “your connection to the chat server has been lost” messages and Local showing populations from 5 systems back, yeah, only giving a cookie to players that were subbed a year ago isn’t cool.

2 things, so the past couple days I’ve had the chat server connectivity errors, is this because it is fixed? and secondly, why did some of my accounts, which have been Omega since the Alpha/Omega exercise began and actively paid for, for many years prior only get 50,000 skill points?
