If you can’t see why this is a terrible terrible idea then nobody is going to listen to anything you say
so small players, mine in rorqs and crab in suppers? I wonder what all the subcap pilots are, tiny? microscopic?
Small - having a single or a few toons. A guy krabs more than my Rorqual pilot with his 6 toons after 2 months of gameplay.
My question is when CCP will stop take in consideration delve ?
Your capitals nerfs are ok, sub cap rebalance ok but stop nerf rorquals…
You nerf logis and faxes when they are in numbers… ok. But you dont changed original problem.
FAX nerf was requested by LS/WH ppl who fight like in 10vs10 or 20vs20 and then suddenly ONE FAX appear and break all fight due to high rep on small targets.
Wanna nerf fax? make their rep work like capital neuts ( penality on signature when u rep sub caps )
You will more impact Low Sec ppl than Null sec because they will like usual compensate this nerf by numbers ( what happened to previous rorquals nerfs, null sec never care about them due to numbers ).
All recent patch taking in consideration only useless null sec stats without take care about low sec people. Wanna nerf null sec? just add role bonus -20% mining if system is -0.1 or lower…
All your changes penalizing only low sec and WH entities who tryed being competitive vs null sec carebears who won eve by numbers and not skillz…
So CCPlz it time to get real ppl in CSM who can talk you about no-FW low sec also who is present in your game and dying since 2017 due your no brain nerfs by taking in consideration stats of null sec only.
So now, change your rebalance by taking in consideration low sec life or just continue like this and finish kill your game with goon help.
Kind regards,
Low sec “survivor”
why would someone in null sec not care if their rorq mines 20% less? your logic is flawed. Yes it stings all of rorq pilots but it was needed and I just bought my first rorq and will probably never enjoy the high mining yield before the nerf hits
And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a rorq in lowsec.
Isn’t the rorq boost buff really just a Barge buff in disguise
You do not need less yield to nerf Rorqs, you need to limit their numbers in an asteroid field to nerf their capabilities. Lower yield means nothing and is absolutely pointless.
Most of this changes area really good, there is only 2 i don’t really like :
Reduce application on fighters : too much. You shall not nerf super that much since they application is already trash.
Maike maybe -20% on light fighters and -10% on heavy to try it.
It’s already too easy to perma tank/takle a super with a hic (assuming 2x omni + 1x dromi)
Rorqual tank : it make it too vulnerable i think. Either change the reduction from shield booster amount to cycle time (so it release some cap pressure), either reduce by a smaller amount.
You can already lose a properly fitted rorqual to a 10 man sub gang with Tri ships… =/
go to caldari/gallente FW. snuffed swing their smart bombing rorqs and titans around in the newbie zone like they just had a penis enlargement the day before
These changes look awesome! I saw you where doing insurance contract tweaks, any chance you can up the insurance for t2 hulls like marauders exhumers, transport ships and t3 cruisers? Perhaps being able to have insurance for ones raitaru or such would be nice too.
How would it be a barge buff? Rorqs still mine more than barges because they can sit on a roid indefinitely and they do not waste cap or crystals like barges.
These are beautiful change’s, thanks for listening CCP, hopefully the combat inti’s get a turn sometime in the future thou :D.
Because their buffs work only on mining lasers and don’t affect other Rorquals. Meaning all barges that mine with Rorqual boosts will have better income, while Rorquals lose 20% yield.
I still see barges used next to rorqs, this means they will have higher yield there because of the better boosts
It seems like insurance is based on size instead of tier, so I’m guessing t2 frig will pay a much higher % than t1 or t2 bs but I have a feeling T1 and T2 Bs will have the same insurance %.
Correct me if I am wrong but even a Hulk still doesn’t mine more than a Rorq.
No, but now they mine more than they did before the patch, this is a buff
These changes are very good and a step in the right direction, thx ccp
I would accept this as a “buff” if the number of Rorqs was limited to 1 per belt. Convenience still beats higher mining yield of exhumers, which means there’s still no point really to use them over Rorqs. In particular not if you are under a super capital umbrella. In other, less defended areas this might be a different story, but those areas don’t mine a lot anyway.
