It was kind of implied in the post I responded to. Struggling to run reppers without injection is kind of normal in PvP fits.
That said, itās not like CCP canāt keep adjusting the balance if it turns out youāre right and itās too tight on cap.
is what i said, and it struggles now. BEFORE you take a nos and add another cap drain.
With regards to the loss of drone levels - this is very shabby treatment for those of us who have expended real cash for alpha injectors through the NES to get the skills up to their current limits. In other words, some of us are not people who āplay alphas for freeā but actually engage in the micro-transactions that CCP has been so keen to pursue.
Strikes me that a decent, honourable, customer-friendly approach would be either to:
- give an option for retrieving those skillpoints invested in the higher drone skills, incl faction drones; or
- grant those people with such skills the equivalent in alpha injectors.
I am sorry, but CCP cannot have it both ways - either alphas are genuinely free to play, and therefore CCP owes their users nothing, or they are ones on which real cash can be spent in the form of alpha injectors. Once you went down that route, you cut off any basis for suddenly rolling back skills in this manner.

I swear that CCP watches my builds and then waits to hit me with a nerf bat. Iāll be ājustā dodging this swing, but it does change everything I was planning down the road. Nerfing/rebalancing ships is one thing but taking skills away from players that have spent time training them is not a good solution to your problems.

Damn this sux bad if issue was really against botting they just need to go after the botter not the ships.
There goes another perfectly good ship not to mention alpha clone is screwed again thus pay to win concept still applies.

Wish they have clearer guide line then waka waka change some stuff again.
After months of training orca they changes some stuff restriction on alpha ooo screwed again it now just looking pretty (Sorry you canāt fly it in an alpha not to mention omega used to train it zzzz)
They should have at least some sort of loyalty program for those who paid more then $50 instead of one size fit all alpha restriction. Maybe they need something call beta for those in between alpha and omega
We should be credited back for all the skill points you are literally stealing from us Alphaās.
It smacks far more of a ābuy Omega to use what you have already spent days on end grinding outā than any sort of ābalanceā change.
We should be credited the XP so we can, as you suggest in the article, sink that XP into gun upgrades or missile skills we donāt presently have.

My biggest issue is the continuity between ship classes. We have had the traditionally blaster bonus brawlers including catalyst, thorax, ENI, brutix, BNI, deimos, and megathron vs the drone bonus ships of algos, vexor, VNI, myrmidon, ishtar, and dominix. It feels like the VNI is being pulled out of that drone boat line into a hybrid role.

I embrace the alpha clone drone changes , personally I think it was too much they were allowed to have.
P.S. When are you going to balance triglavian ships ? They just simply render obsolete most of the subcapital ships in the game.

Simplest solution to quit botting with drones, completely remove the Drone Aggressive trait , make it manual targeting only, this would Kill the AFK and Bot factor greatly yes.
Really looking forward to the VNI Change, I always hated that the VNI was not more like the regular Vexor. Now this is something to look forward too.

Agreed, I use my VNIs for anomalies and escalations in hisec as something different from a Gila. this just means I will go back to the Gila.
